Vardy and Drinkwater on the bench tomorrow

I can see Vardy coming on for kane when they should be playing together and DD will come on last ten minutes when it is too late.

Or there could be a new 11 halftime if it is unlimited subs.

I honestly see no way out for England. We are genuinely content with this shit. It's a disgrace.

Honestly though, just picking Drinkwater and Vardy wont suddenly make England world beaters.

We dont produce top talent often enough. We dont produce players with the skills that make them world class. There is disconnect between the Premier League and the national team, the clubs aims not aligning with those of the national team. Our development of youth falls behind other countries.

The inclusion or non inclusion of Drinkwater and Vardy is almost irrelevant.

This ten out of ten bollocks is hilarious, winning ten games against hopelessly average teams isn't something to shout about. I really hope England crash and burn...again.

The thrill and pride of playing for their countries will only fuel the adrenaline pumping through our players, we are planning for a home game sunday, Spurs have an away game Sat night and as for the Spurs hatred, they have some bloody good players having a good season that cannot be said of the Liverpool players but with my England hat on DD and Vardy should already have done enough to be going to the Euros.

As for this knocking of Danny Welbeck, his goal won this seasons premier league their was a lap of honour and photos all over the internet if you have forgotten.

I don't understand what vardy has to do to get into this side...

Play for Spurs

Can see them both starting on Tuesday.

Think tonight's team is the favoured 11, ( from. Who's fit) and Tuesday will be the 2nd string

Sign for Arsenal and not play a game all season.

It does worry me slightly that Roy is making it so vardy can't advance just because he doesn't play for a big side, I worry vardes might go to advance his chances. :(

I couldn't care less - the contempt Hodgson appears to have for our players mirrors the general contempt you hear dressed up as 'expertise' on forums and talk-ins with ex-pros. Everyone that 'knows best' knows we are top by fluke and our players are bang average.

Suits me, let them be a self-regarding, insular closed shop for all I care - when we win the league, and he still fails to pick our players, it will prove how our game is really run, by whom and to what end.

I normally jump on the bandwagon during tournaments, but at this moment in time I can see me supporting the opposition, I 'want' England and will 'enjoy' it if England bomb out at the group stages at this current moment in time, all because of the dinosaur that is Woy.

I gave him praise after his first tournament with England for me he did better than was expected, since then though they've gone backwards rapidly, as someone mentioned yes they won ever game in qualification, against who though! I know you can't pick who you play in qualification but they should have won every game given who they were playing.

Personel, selection, morale, country support is all at rock bottom from what I can see, thanks Woy!

The only thing i'm looking forward to regards the upcoming tournament is I have a St Georges flag with a Leicester badge on it which i'll have out my window, but it won't be out the window from an England point of view, fuck that, it'll be because i'm proud of Leicester's season regards of what happens from here.

Roy Hodgson might be my most hated person in football, the man is an absolute clown. He hasn't got a fcukin clue. You could argue by not picking Leicester players he's not bowing down to the big club mentality that's shadowed England for so long. Instead he's picking players from lower down the league like Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea. Hahahaa the man is a twat.

I used to love England, probably more so than Leicester when it came to international tournaments my passion was more than I felt during the domestic campaigns but now I wouldn't go out of my way to really care. Even with the chance of us having more players in the team than ever before, nothing will change. We are the pits of a nation and its laughable.

Kane and vardy have 40 goals between them this season, yet he still only plays one of them. Same old crap with England, roll on a week on Sunday.

i love england and always have and will. come the euros I'll get me face paint out and only drink john smiths. im even pumped about these two friendlies i just really like england.

however, for us especially, this should be the time we feel most english, most alive with pride. this should be the best euros we've ever experienced. it's in france, we've got wales in the group, we've got loads of leicester in their countries squads and we'll probably end up with a couple in the england squad.

but as this thread shows nobody really cares much anymore. we should be looking on doubling the population of france with our fans watching us beat our nearest rivals with national hero and soon to be knighted jamie vardy leading the line. but we all know in 3 months time we'll go out in the second round after sneaking through the group thanks to watching james Milner stumble around pretending to be some sort of defensive winger as we play out a horror of a 0-0 draw with wales.

thanks England. thanks.

I care, but I'm not going to waste energy on it when the game is so nakedly run for business purposes. If and when we win the title this season, I will be totally OTT about it, but after that I am really not so sure I will ever feel the same about football again.

Really thought it would be Kane and Vardy

However presumably will have Drinkwater and Vardy together for the next game which might see Vardy getting a bit more service than he has in previous internationals when he has been overlooked for Rooney etc

I'm glad in a way if they don't get a game.

Woy has proved he is clueless and this sums it up.

Just hope out 2 are injury free for next weekend and hope all the Spurs lads don't pick up any nigling injuries which may scupper their bid for the Prem(cough, cough! lol!!!)

As usual you're completely missing the point - just sticking our players in wont make england the best side in the world, but that's not what anyone except probably Scouse thinks.

What people have a problem with is the attitude that their exclusion is based on, that Woy hasn't made any attempt to, and seemingly doesn't really want to, shake things up after brazil, and besides enforced changes like Gerard's retirement and sturridge being permanently crocked, you'll go in with the same players and system as in Brazil, despite you being shown to be woefully mediocre playing with such a setup.

Hopefully JV and DD get the last 45 mins in this game and the 1st 45 mins in the Holland game

This won't be popular but as regards Vardy he's not exactly tearing it up at the moment is he?

Since Welbeck got back from a long term injury he's scored 3 goals in 5 games whilst Vardy's got 4 in the last 15.

Don't see any problem at all with Vardy on the bench especially if he starts at centre forward on Tuesday. The problem is that I suspect he won't start at centre forward on Tuesday.

Drinkwater should be in the team though, Henderson's an absolute joke.

Its not by coincidence that nobody really cares anymore, we all just know we're going to fail miserably in the Euro's with Roy still persisting with dross like Jordan Henderson.
