This is an absolutely staggering stat. We've been behind for a combined half a game in 5 and a half months of English top level football. Amazing. :worship:

Yet my heart thinks we've been behind desperately needing a goal all season long!

Be superb if we can win this but we can afford two losses, Spurs need to win all five of their remaining games so if things do not go right, I'm not panicking.

Just like our survival run where we lost and drew a game in between the wins.

Can any of you remember that budgie in one of the Carry On films that helped Sid James pick winners ?    Well my dog has similar powers.  I told him what I thought would be the starting line up for this match and he barked.  I asked him if Ulloa would come on for Okazaki and he barked again.  I asked him if we were not going to lose this game and yet again he barked.      And I asked him if we were going to finish top of the Prem as I picked his ball up and he barked his head off.      So rest easy all you twitchy bums its in the bag.       The only question now is who's going to play him in the film ...      :scarf:

My heart, my blood pressure, my pulse-rate, my stomach-lining... I want us to run up a four-goal lead within half an hour and then play keep-ball. As my age, I should not be put under this level of stress.

Spoke to a couple of West Ham fans at the golf club today. They're not expecting to get anything tomorrow and reckon the players are knackered and on a downer after going out the cup. Bilic also sounded pretty deflated in his pre match presser and might have a job to lift his players for this one. I feel hugely positive about another 3 points tomorrow and also think Stoke will get a draw vs Spurs. If we then beat Swansea (which I think we will) it's pretty much done and dusted. Piece of piss this winning the PL business lol

A year ago we started quick, EC scored and they looked disinterested

Then nuge missed a pen and that brought them to life. Was tough from then on. Let's start quick and not give them anything to hang their hats on thereafter.

I actually feel nauseous tonight thinking about the game tomorrow, just imaging if we win and Tottenham don't on Monday how close we'll be. Or if we don't win and Tottenham do how the pressure gets cranked up. I'll be glad when this season is over as I want this so bad that's it's not fun anymore.

I'm shitting it. Don't want to go. Getting worse by the hour. It's not fun anymore.

But it's a great feeling walking out of the ground when we win. I've not enjoyed the last couple of home games, but once the final whistle blows and there are 3 more points in the bag, it's just the best end to the weekend. Just hoping we can have a relatively comfortable afternoon the next 2 Sunday's.
