Jimbo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I have to admit that I think the time for bursting into tears is getting closer. Each time the final whistle goes I feel the emotion getting stronger. But I hold it back. I will end up crying at some point. It'll either be at the end of the season and we've blown it or when it confirmed if we do go on to win the league

Setting the whole team story aside, to have come in 2nd so many times with so many "big" clubs and to go on and perhaps win the PL with Leicester in such a fashion would be a personal victory that for me tugs the heart-strings in a way that few things could. A story of redemption playing out on the world stage.

When I saw Claudio blinking after the final whistle, I started blinking too. You just know it mean so much to him, after he was labeled as "has been" by every pundit and most likely to get the boot by bookies

Feeling eurphoric for a a while in the next season , if title is won, ok I understand but its not your own achievement. If players or management have high emotion that I understand, its their careers in an emotional setting. Now me, I will sit in my armchair with a bottle of bubbly, for weeks with a wry smile spread across my face, with my wife telling kids and neighbours....he died so happily and content, I didnt want to move him..
