SpacedX Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I've seen a comment from one person that he is "gutted" after paying £40 for his membership thinking, erroneously, he would get a ticket why I've paid over 8 times that amount IN ADVANCE!! Were where these folk when we were in the Championship and League One?!! Probably many of them attending every home game without the need to subscribe to a membership scheme?
m4DD0gg Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 As the tickets listed at £15,000 are in L1 row 1, they probably belong to a season ticket holder as I don't remember tickets ever being available for that section Its actually illegal to re sell any ticket to a designated football match. There you go then, the club should be on the case with it.
nnfox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Its actually illegal to re sell any ticket to a designated football match. I think it is OK to sell a ticket as long as you don't charge more than face value.
m4DD0gg Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I think it is OK to sell a ticket as long as you don't charge more than face value. I think £14,965 constitutes as a little bit over face value.
Fox92 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Two online re-sale websites are offering tickets for last home game for £15,000, the link is of the BBC. My mate text me last night saying he couldn't get tickets and he is a Gold member, apparently membership doesn't guarantee tickets WTF. So begs the question, how did these touts get tickets? From someone who has sold their ticket to them, surely? Which should mean the original ticket holder is dealt with by the club?
TJB-fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Not sure who are worse/annoy me more, the plastics or the ticket touts
Foxxed Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 That's quite some lcfc picture on BBC Sport's main page.
indierich06 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I think it's scandalous, but there's no way the club will allow it to happen anyway. If it's going on publicly, on ticket touting sites, they can just check the seat number and cancel the ticket if they want to. Not got much sympathy for the bleating fan in the article though. The only people who are nailed on to see every single home game are season ticket holders, end of story. Why would you think you're guarenteed a seat for the biggest game in the club's history because you got a membership? Ridiculous. Will probably get people moaning that there were no tickets left for general sale too.
Benguin Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Disgusting that people would do this but it's a bit of a non story, I could put my pubes on eBay for £15,000, doesn't mean anyone's going to buy them.
Moksky Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Disgusting that people would do this but it's a bit of a non story, I could put my pubes on eBay for £15,000, doesn't mean anyone's going to buy them. Spot on

Rasmic123 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 The moaning plastics need flaying ! the people who have a foxes membership who havent got a ticket have a right to be pissed off though, tickets going to people looking to make a quick buck over actual fans is poor
Benguin Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Is there any added value with them, lice or crabs? Cottage cheese
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Doesnt work for the club anymore For that reason or..?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 put my pubes on eBay for £15,000 Give you £500 if you end the listing now
AKCJ Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I don't know what you're all whining about. If you cant afford it then don't go. sarcasm
smr Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 There will always be ticket touts around sporting events and Leicester City's last home game is no different. Touts are the scourge of sport but I've never been a supporter of this membership scheme. Fortunately, as a season ticket holder of many years I can sleep easy. I've seen a comment from one person that he is "gutted" after paying £40 for his membership thinking, erroneously, he would get a ticket why I've paid over 8 times that amount IN ADVANCE!! Were where these folk when we were in the Championship and League One?!! That was probably me if you're referring to that Leicester City group on facebook. And yeah, I am gutted about not getting a ticket for the Everton game. The fact is I've had Season Tickets for several seasons at the club, been to all the Play off Final games, Cup Final games, Semi Final games, had Season Tickets, attended other games every single season with memberships and without since my first match in 1991 at 7 years old. Never had a problem attending games until this season. Fact is my Dad and I have ploughed literally thousands and thousands of pounds worth of money into following the club over the years and spending money on merchandise, memberships etc.. You can't just assume that people with silver memberships are any less of a fan than anyone else. I feel sorry for the gold members more than anyone though as they'd all have expected to get a ticket for the Everton game. I didn't expect it to be a dead cert. that I'd get a ticket for the Everton game but I at least thought there'd be a scrap over Silver tickets. Well done to anyone who has a Season Ticket this year and anyone who's got a ticket for the Everton game, hope you all enjoy it. Up the City! #COYF.
Mythyaar Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Am currently asking Evertonian friends fans to see if I can get hold of some in their end, it's the only way. I reckon we will take at least 50% of their holding in what are exceptional probably never to be repeated circumstances.
MrSpaM Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 From someone who has sold their ticket to them, surely? Which should mean the original ticket holder is dealt with by the club? How exactly would the club know if it was your season ticket or one that somebody has bought off you? The only checks at the gates are whether you are a child or not which flashes up on the other side of the turnstile as you walk in. There is absolutely no way of the club knowing if it's your season ticket, it's not like they are asking everybody for ID as they walk in is it.
simon789us Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Tickets should have gone on sale to gold and family fox members at 9.00 yesterday but it wasn't until 9.40 that gold members were able to purchase tickicts online

They wont have to pay for them because its illegal to sell them in the first place, lus theyll makr a bit of dough by selling the seat twice, the only people who lose out are the ones who deserve to lose out.
Russell sprout Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Disgusting that people would do this but it's a bit of a non story, I could put my pubes on eBay for £15,000, doesn't mean anyone's going to buy them. Does if you say there Jamie vardys

GaelicFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 the people who have a foxes membership who havent got a ticket have a right to be pissed off though, tickets going to people looking to make a quick buck over actual fans is poor Yes but blaming the owners is stupid This is a once in a lifetime event Unfortunately some people has to work New Year's Eve 1999 Not everyone can be kept happy But yea they have the right to be upset Bot blaming the owners is stupid stuff
