DJ Barry Hammond Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The point is Moss has got away with it, Vardy hasn't, that's whats angered us as fans. Like i've already said give Moss some punishment and maybe Vardy and the club being charged can somewhat be justified, but while Moss has been 'backed' the mind boggles. We don't know for sure - he's appointed for Arsenal's game on Thursday but not for any of that weekends games. The next set of appointments to be made are for the week after. Vardy's charge has come because they've reviewed the match reports today - but the reviewingof refereeing performance will take longer and they may well decide to demote him for a week or two, like has happened in some instances in the past.
nnfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 We are into serious seige mentality time. Roy Hodgson has a season ticket at spurs. All the english players at Spurs get straight into the England squad. The FA want Spurs to win the title and Leicester are the only team that can stop them. Leicester need de-railing and as we get so close to the end of the season they are like "Desperate times call for desperate measures" So this weekend, a perfectly good ref is removed from the Spurs game because of where he lives (something that has never happened before) and Leicester fall victim to the worst refereeing performance of the season in any game. Coupled with that, our star striker gets sent off for two dubious yellow cards and banned for the next game. Not satisfied with that, they stick another game onto his ban for speaking the truth in the heat of the moment. The FA can do one and so can Spurs. We are Leicester and we stick together. We have our boys' backs and we'll let them know that when they take to the field next time. It is up to us to push the players on, they can do it with or without Vards. Come on Leicester!!!
dogadug Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Vardy should do a Shearer and threaten to **** off the England squad Woy would probs be happy - more reason to pick Rooney..

Like i've already said give Moss some punishment and maybe Vardy and the club being charged can somewhat be justified, but while Moss has been 'backed' the mind boggles. Not just Moss. Rooney on a nearly weekly basis. Hart when he was in the refs face. Andy Carroll yesterday. They would rather keep things a shambles to create talking points rather than improve things even when they have the power to. That, unfortunately, is what English football has turned into. A soap opera rather than a sport.
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Sending off nearly cost us a game ....it didn't For the record I believe if he missed the rest of the season we are still going to win the league Time will tell Granted we were down to 10 men, but we sat so deep when Leo came on and conceded 2. He isn't the sort to chase things down or go on the break like Vards. I'd be starting schlupp somewhere amongst it to give us a pace injection.

Socks Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 he will get more bans...guaranteed but fvck em, let them try and stop us from winning the league (which is what they are trying to do) I/the club/the players fully expect leo/shinji etc to step up and prove them wrong cvnts
foxfanazer Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 grow up, fact is you can't lose your head at this stage of the season when the team is this close to a titleTake your own advice fella. He's probably the biggest reason we have any shot at the title
Corky Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The Vardy thing is fair enough but failure to control players after a major decision at a crucial stage of the match and season is a petty charge. He's just given a penalty with 5 minutes to go (and a debatable one at that), do they expect the players just to accept the decision or queue up politely to ask why?
Richmondfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 If he has been charged then he should accept the fine 1 extra game ban rather than contest it and risk getting more. There is no way that he will win. Carroll and Billic should also get a charge for criticising the ref to the press after. I know we are biased, feel this is unfair and it pains me to say but his temper has gotten the better of him when he needed to just walk off the pitch and be professional. Swearing and pointing at the ref would never change the situation only make it worse. Moss has used this game to make an example of how treat to the ref. Pulling in the box, Wes was told yet he pulled Reid who dived forward and conned a penalty. This will make the team fight even harder, Mahrez, Shinji and Leo will step up over the next few games.
matty98 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 If it is any comfort the bookies still have us as very strong odds on favourites - and they rarely get it wrong. yeh spot on at the start 5000/1 haha
Bluetintedspecs Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 People need to seriously calm the fvck down. We don't know the length of the ban yet and remember we've still got a decent lead at the top. If Spurs don't win tonight then things won't look so bad. The team will rally and 'win it for Vardy' so stop panicking. We're not just a one man team, we're an unstoppable force on a mission with destiny. The other players will step up and we'll find the goals from other sources. It was never going to be plain sailing and we were never going to have it all our own way. We gotta keep believing and stop acting like kids who've had their toys confiscated. Totally this. Stoke away will be tough for the Spuds tonight, let's see how that unfolds first.
The Guvnor Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Keith Hackett former refs chief has stated that Moss produced the worst performance all season and sadly his performance started the chain of events which has led to Vardy being sent off,to rub salt in the wound Vardy could receive an extended ban, its alright telling people to calm down but I am fcuking fuming.

Yea ill buy that but also Sinji and Ulloa I think will make a good pairing
Dan Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Let's just see what happens in the next week. Let's see the countless incidents of a similar nature that go unpunished.

Moss and Hackett have history
gdl9050 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The FA have to back their refs, it's not a conspiracy. Hopefully nothing comes of this but I guess an extra game ban now is inevitable. You're actually one of few people on here who seem to talk sense
Sharpe's Foxes Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The whole system is so biased. It actually disgusts me. If Vardy gets a longer ban for this, then so should Moss for being the shittest ref on earth. And why can't refs be interviewed after games? Why not? It would help to get an explanation sometimes. The FA remain a prehistoric, closed shop organization where the England manager gets paid anything up to 6 million a year. So wrong in this day and age. Moss getting a ban wouldn't help us at all. The bookies and Tottenham would gladly take a Moss ban since it doesn't affect them at all.
NewEnglandFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Andy Carrol retweeted Papa Schmeichel. What a boss. https://twitter.com/AndyTCarroll
smr Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Absolute cvnts the FA are, and that Ref, utter bellend!

I think your missing the point. It's the fact that he swore. Tbh I bet a lot of the foreign players swear at the ref but the ref doesn't even understand what they are saying.
filbertstreet Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Andy Carrol retweeted Papa Schmeichel. What a boss. https://twitter.com/AndyTCarroll cause he thinks leo's pen wasn't a pen
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 London mafia have obviously paid a few refs off This is clearly a conspiracy as Leicester aren't glamorous enough to win the title whereas them ****ing cockney cuntflaps allegedly are
Manwell Pablo Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Soooo very true! They liked the idea of us winning it , BUT now we are so close I feel they don't want us too??? Maybe me being paranoid but..... A lot of negative press ATM. Pressure eh? He is getting done because it's a blatant and terrible dive, any other player at any other club you lot would be forming a lynch mob. Nothing to do with the FA conspiring against us, dive shit get banned. Had an amazing season but utter stupidity from him yesterday.
