Vardy & LCFC Charged by the FA - Charges Accepted & Personal Hearing Requested

If they're setting a precedent here then Jordan Henderson should be put away for life with some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth on match days. And that's just at the linos.

Exactly, Ashley Cole, John Terry, Wayne Rooney. I've seen them call refs f-ing c---ts many a time without so much as a warning. Double standards for sure.

Gutted, but there are some seriously whiny and biased posts in here.

Vardy's reaction wasn't acceptable and now he's probably going to face an extra game ban. The ref might've been shit but that doesn't make what Vardy did acceptable.

Bollocks. People have every right to be whiney and biased... the ref gave a yellow card cos a west ham player walked over vardys leg and took a tumble... never a fkin yellow card in a million years... so vardy would have been booked for simulation but not sent off, meaning he most likely wouldn't have called the referee by his proper name and still be be in the team for the next two games.

Get a grip!

I'm not worried. Will definitely be a 2-match ban all together more and he misses against Man U, but he'll be at both games with the team, and the atmosphere within that group of players after the last minute penalty, and knowing they've ****ed over Vardy, I mean Ranieri and co must be ramming this down their throats to spur them on.

Mahrez behind Shinji at Swansea, Schlupp on Left, Albrighton back on right.

Leo to score the goals that make history....

He showed yesterday he can hit the back of the net under immense pressure.

It's frustrating and infuriating but let's not forget that sadly Vards didn't help himself by acting like a chav.

How ever much Moss was an incompetent Cvnt telling him so and pointing at him like he wanted to kill him was never a bright move.

Blame is completely at vardys door. Ref was throwing cards around, he was already on a booking and he should have known better.

Reaction unforgivable.

Claudio should have taken him off at h/t. Anyone could have seen it coming.

easy to say in hindsight, the problem here for me is players swear at referees every game, why pick this up?

****ing bullshit. Wonder if golden boy Kane would have got the same treatment by the FA - I doubt it. How about they sack that fat piece of shit Moss.

Doubt it. Probably not by the FA and almost certainly not by London-based media.

There really should be a proper inquiry into Moss's handling of yesterday's match. Can't the FA understand that so much controversy can't be without foundation? It was a robust game with so much going on but one journalist summed it up admirably when he talked of the referee "equalising" for West Ham and later doing the same for Leicester.

I wonder how any FA member would react if they were publicly labelled a cheat despite a clearly filmed and blatant attempt by a defender to impede Vardy's progress and totally inconclusive evidence relating to the action that followed? A pointed finger and a few reactionary words

were perfectly natural and understandable in the circumstances and more so, given what had gone before.

Get a grip man! Vardy wasn't looking out of ordinary at all, he was hardly close to his usual self in terms of tackles yersterday. Unfortunately that yellow for the earler tackle got him this time, didn't deserve that at all. If you're done for diving I epect you to be yellow carded, can't stand diving at all. And Vardy completely played for that, way worse than he has before. Ref was right to send him off in that sense.

Vardy's reaction is certainly no worse than Costa's reaction to being sent off so the most he will get is an extra 1 match ban, the only point in his favour compared to Costa was he left the pitch fairly quickly.

It will be interesting to see what Ranieri does with the team. My inclination would be play Ulloa (who is our best at holding up the ball) with Mahrez further forward. Schlupp would also come in, with Shinzi on the bench

Spurs could not have dreamed up a better scenario than taking 3 points away from the West Ham game and getting Vardy suspended for 2-3 games.  Spurs fans must be celebrating over on their boards.

The powers that be are doing everything they can to stop us from winning the league.

Ah, come on. If there were a conspiracy, it would have started way earlier. I didn't like watching yesterday's mess myself, but your insinuation is taking it too far.

How excited are SKY Sports about the potential for a longer Vardy ban? Jesus.

The title race had gone stale !

Sky wanted it livened up

Moss carnage and away we go the race has lit up again

Sky happy

Premier league happy

Get a grip? Forgive me but I think the people who need to "get a grip" are those going on tirades about the FA, the Ref and how everything is conspiring against us for us to lose. Remember how much grief everyone has been giving the Spurs fans who have talked about conspiracy? And yet now people are saying the FA are doing this on purpose to sabbotage us. Are they bollocks. Vardy's actions were not acceptable, it's that simple.

I'll be as gutted as the next city fan if Vardy's ban is extended, but we will have to accept it and win the title without him.

does anyone else agree that all day today on Talkshite and other social media they've basicall been saying "its spurs title" ??

was the abuse even that bad, a quick insult and disappeared, seen way worse reactions to sending off without any mention

Your last sentence is utterly condemning of the referee because everyone COULD see it, as you say. Vardy seemed firmly in the referee's sights almost from the off yet was far more offended against than offender.

The thing I don't understand at this point, is why do players face an extended ban if their appeal fails?

Everyone should feel at liberty to defend themselves without fear of retribution. It's bad enough that the prosecutor is also judge and juror.

How did the West Ham players react to the penalty we were given? I turned away in tension after it was awarded so missed their view.

Doffed their caps, shook his hand and congratulated him on a fine decision.
