dpjfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 i think Gilbert? Arsenal? also got an extra game when charged. Costa i can understand as he has been a pest with refs all season. Ihope Hodgson voices his support, as he witnessed the game and also would want Vardy match fit and buzzing for the Euros
EastAnglianFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 A few on twitter saying Moss has been removed from next week's games
lildave3 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 This thread is hilarious! Calling bias and claiming the world doesn't want Leicester to win despite there being numerous examples (in this thread) of other instances! Stop supporting England if this happens hahaha oh my. I don't understand how people live there lives without having heart attacks every day, chill folks, chill.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 A few on twitter saying Moss has been removed from next week's games Because he's in the cup as a fourth official, was never going to ref this weekend anyway. You will however see him this Thursday!
m4DD0gg Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 A few on twitter saying Moss has been removed from next week's games Good i wouldnt let him referee an under 10's
Tuna Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 A few on twitter saying Moss has been removed from next week's games No he's on fourth official duty.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The FA are clearly doing it wrong then. Simple as that. The standard is appalling and nothing of significance is done about it. They aren't giving them more assistance which they need - they're sugar coating it. How bad does it have to get for them to do anything about it? We've had a lot of luck off officials this season (although they aren't as responsible for our season as some will have you know) but what's happened in the past day and a bit is just plain bias against us. Sorry but it just is. I can forgive errors, but I can't forgive inconsistency and bias. This is so far the latter two it's unreal. You conflate two things. If the performance is down to bias, there is nothing the FA can do to assist - they can only chuck referees out. If it's because the referee has interpreted the rules wrong - well that's another matter, where the FA can assist to some degree - like bringing in goal line technology and the radio mic system between referees and linesman. The other thing I'd highlight - in general I think the refereeing I've seen over this season has been largely excellent which is possibly why there's suddenly such a reaction here over this performance. The problem is however, the calls made can be seen in many different ways - for example the single Vardy decision we have people saying "Penalty", "No penalty, no booking" and "Dive, yellow card". If you can't get a consistent answer from one fan to the next, how is the referee expected to be consistent? What you actually want is the referee to be consistent to your view. Part of the problem in gaining consistancy is how the rules are written, because they're very grey - open to interpretation. The other problem is you get instances where fans want referees to move away from the letter of the law, because big decisions such as giving a red card or penalty have such an impact on the game - and so referees don't only have to interprete the laws of the game, they have to delve into game management, This is why you get the often sited "foul outside the box, not a foul inside" situations and the tackles early in the game worthy of a booking that sometimes go unpunished. Refereeing is an imperfect science, it is human and is depdenant on so many factors including how players act during the game (players know this and clever ones will try and use that to their advantage), so you will get poor performances - and ok, vent for a bit after the game, but now that period has passed don't let it cloud your judgement. A sense of injustice can be useful in team sport when used the right way BUT it can also go the other way, so as fans we really need to accept the situation and get back onto a positive mind set given the next home game is only 6 days away.
Socks Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 If he gets more bans (which I think he will) We should play this: Simpson--Morgan--Huth--Fuchs Gray--Drinky--Kante--Albrighton/Schlupp Mahrez Shinji OR Simpson--Morgan--Huth--Fuchs Mahrez--Drinky--Kante--Albrighton/Gray/Schlupp Ulloa/Schlupp Shinji its really not the end of the world I think if we beat Swansea we have more or less done it

I don't understand how people live there lives without having heart attacks every day, chill folks, chill. It's embarrassing isn't it. Someone even claimed that the FA want better TV ratings. Like they care? It's on skysports. Not the FAtv
stevelcfc Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 WHU fans apparently threw bottles into the family stand, got away with that too.
Babylon Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Andy Carrol retweeted Papa Schmeichel. What a boss. https://twitter.com/AndyTCarroll He'll get a ban for that
gdl9050 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 If he gets more bans (which I think he will) We should play this: Simpson--Morgan--Huth--Fuchs Gray--Drinky--Kante--Albrighton/Schlupp Mahrez Shinji OR Simpson--Morgan--Huth--Fuchs Mahrez--Drinky--Kante--Albrighton/Gray/Schlupp Schlupp/Gray Shinji its really not the end of the world I think if we beat Swansea we have more or less done it The main issue is fitness. Shinji doesn't seem to last longer than 60 mins and ulloa hasn't played a full 90 for ages. And also, what striker is going to be on the bench
ARM1968 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Earlier today when I suggested that events were conspiring against us tin foil hats were mentioned. This result was obvious and it's even more obvious now that they've accused the club as well as Vardy. It's ridiculous in a massive way. Watching TV coverage of football you see many times during a game players swearing after a decision, directly towards the assistant ref or the ref. Are we now going to see action taken against everyone who does it? I doubt that very much.
Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Moss and Hackett have history A lot of people have history with Moss as know him to be an impetuous and incompetent ****!
foxfanazer Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Schlupp can play up top with shinji next gameI just got really nervous all of a sudden
sphericalfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 No he's on fourth official duty. He'll just **** up the subs board, and then add on 20mins instead of 4.
Koke Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Moss will be in charge of Everton v United in the cup semi final. Good luck to both sides.
Socks Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Schlupp can play up top with shinji next game He doesnt have to be direct up top, behind shinji on the left

gdl9050 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Andy caroll probably wants a ban, he's so used to sitting on his arse in his pad he probably wants it back. He will definitely get a ban
Benguin Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Ulloa we love you please take this opportunity with open arms and live up to your song because you score goals and that's alright with me!

Are we now going to see action taken against everyone who does it? I doubt that very much. It wasn't just the swearing that did it - the finger pointed directly at the referee and a snarling dog look in his eyes all contributed to this decision and had it not been for Noble / other players around him, it could have been worse.
Kitchandro Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 The ref was appalling yesterday but that does not excuse Vardy's behaviour. If a player does not respect the ref as a man he must still respect his position. Vardy's actions were reckless and could cost us dearly. 29 years old and he behaves like a teenage yob. I love the guy but he has a bit of growing up to do. Let down his boss, the team and the fans. Got to be on the wind up. He reacted like any normal person would react. He gives a shit about football and his career. It's doesn't take a yob to swear at someone who has wronged you.
