Babylon Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 Timo Werner Yussuf Poulsen Andre Gray Callum Wilson Are 4 players who could be got for £23 million or less. In my opinion all 4 are better options long term. You presumably are employed as a head scout somewhere to have in depth knowledge of those players and theirs stats. Impressive.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 I'd hope Albrighton would still be incorporated and involved in the team next season, I think he will but as mentioned it would depend on the opposition to a certain degree. Some games could be more suited to Musa, whereas other games Albrighton. Premier League and Champions League games will probably play a key factor in this too. I like Albrighton because he is a consistent performer for us, and his attacking/defensive work rate is fantastic every match. That's the key in this transfer window. We will likely bolster the squad depth to accommodate the PL and CL, which is good. Musa can play as a striker, so Albrighton and Musa could potentially play on the pitch together, but obviously in different positions. Our attacking options could get even better for this upcoming season, so it's an exciting prospect for the club.
roblcfc84 Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 What is the obsession with the fee - if the club have the money and have clearly scouted him over a significant period of time, then he's worth what we are willing to pay. There is no way we would pay this much money without being confident he's adding something. We are champions and playing CL next season - fees will get bigger.

There is no way we would pay this much money without being confident he's adding something. We are champions and playing CL next season - fees will get bigger. Take Shane Long for example. If we could get him for £5m then most people would have him in a heartbeat for that price. Hardly anyone would want him for £25m. It's all about value, if a club consistently pay over the odds for a player they'll eventually start performing under their natural level, if a club constantly gets value it will eventually over perform it's natural level.

I'm talking about in this particular instance - I understand the value debate - but how can anyone on this forum realistically debate Musa's value at this stage. Few will have seen him play and no-one has seen him play in our team set up to suit his attributes. He may be rubbish but if the club think he worth double our current transfer record I don't think we should be second guessing their valuation

I'll be happy to join.' Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-3612985/Ahmed-Musa-keen-join-Leicester-City-Claudio-Ranieri-looks-push-deal.html#ixzz49xr4dsZ0
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 I wouldn't have mentioned Okazaki in that list if I were you. ... Then there's Inler, Benalouane, Kramaric. Not infallible. Shouldn't have mentioned Schmeichel either; Sven signed him.
Mezeker Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 Nah he is just another computer game manager In walsh we trust top hater.
Lesteban Posted 28 May 2016 Posted 28 May 2016 Worth remembering also that since there are still roughly the same number of players for sale, but clubs in the Prem have just got considerably richer with the TV deal... Prices will be noticeably higher this summer than at any other time in the past. Will almost certainly be the record window for spending.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 That FourFourTwo article reads really, really positively. We'll get this one.

TrentFox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Totally one-footed. Hope it's a really good one at that price.
dbtcity Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Totally one-footed. Hope it's a really good one at that price. Most reports have him down as being both footed
dpjfox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 lets get Zeigler and Hernandez officially cleared first. Musa transfer will require centre stage on his own (it appears to me that the details are just being finalised)
weller54 Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Totally one-footed. Hope it's a really good one at that price. Are you a flamingo?
AKCJ Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Totally one-footed. Hope it's a really good one at that price. He's no more one footed than any of our other wingers.
