Bandwagon accusations

Been a Leicester fan for over twenty years from the early 90's. Moved into a house in Aylestone after I got a job in the city. I'm from Ireland and am living back home now. Can't believe how many people are accusing me of being a bandwagoner, so bloody annoying. I was a season ticket holder in the old carling stand.

Sorry, rant over. Go on the Foxes. Very proud of you and the brilliant supporters. Enjoy the day, I'll be at the bar in my now tight fitting 1995 era shirt.

Realising more and more who gives a shit? This 'I'm a bigger fan than they are' stuff is already getting tiring and divisive. I'm just looking forward to being in Leicester today and sharing it with other Leicester fans, regardless of how long they have been Leicester fans

I've just been to the newsagents in my small village in south of Paris in my Leicester Top and amazing people now know who we are (no one ever asked before just looked at you gone out)

PS: been a city fan for 46 years  lived in Leicestershire for 24 of those the rest in France (just if anyone was asking) :scarf:

Was accused of this by a Derby born and bred Liverpool fan yesterday. Get used to it sadly.

I live in Southampton at the moment. My girlfriend is a teacher and told her kids off for going on about Ud in class during Vardy's streak saying "I hear enough about vardy and his party at home".

She told them her boyfriend was a Leicester fan and the kids asked if I was a glory hunter! Pound to a penny they're all united fans!

I can't believe it either, I've been a fan of LCFC since at least January and before that I've only ever supported Chelsea, Man Utd, Real Madrid and Barcelona

I know about half a dozen people who had virtually no interest in football until a couple of years ago and who are now avid City followers, and I think it's great. My Dumbarton-supporting Scottish neighbour is watching the game tonight, as are a Californian couple who have absolutely no interest in any kind of sport - apart from City.

Frankly, I don't buy any of this old bollox about "You ain't a proper fan until [............fill in the gap according to choice..........]. I'm really pleased that we have become known worldwide, and that people find out story inspirational, and if they want to wear our replica shirts, then good luck to them. OK, maybe they'll bugger off when we start losing, but maybe not. Does it matter?

No Arsenal?

And you call yourself a fan. Huh!

Doing outreach work in a school in Bournemouth yesterday and had to get pictures out of 8 year old me wearing a City shirt to convince them lol

One of the kids was a Yeovil fan so I said the classic "I was there on a Tuesday night in the rain!"

You should not worry what people think,

I don't get why folk go on forums to post there views when you know it'll be a mixed reaction,

And it's the negative ones that will bother you,

Just because someone doesn't go church does that mean there not a Christian,

It really doesn't matter what others think,it's what yo know that important

I'm sorry but all of us not from Leicester are going to have to get used to it.

As long as you know you haven't jumped on the bandwagon then that should be good enough.

try speaking like this and people not thinking you're on the bandwagon.

gotta take it as a compliment tbh, supporting leicester is now actually glory hunting. glory. leicester. lol

imo i doesnt matter where you came from/Live etc as long as you support the club through thick and thin, good times and bad

from my view its the one who support Leicester but when they arent doing well dont say a word or hardly any;  then pipe up when we are doing well and suddenly become the biggest Leicester fan in the world, its more a gripe than bandwagon tbh :(

I'm fortunate, with Brighton doing so well the local populace has their own bandwagon. Plus my England / LCFC flag is hung outside every 2 years anyway
