orangecity23 Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Strange, seems like I just saw Jan Vertonghen push over an opponent on an attacking free kick, and he almost pulled an Arsenal players shirt off defending a first half corner - but according to the Spuds fans and their media friends, only Huth and Morgan grapple opponents and it needs to be cracked down on hard by referees. Just illustrates exactly what is wrong with this current "crackdown" on grappling - it only applies to cracking down on certain players and teams, if you are at a "big" club that the establishment likes you can carry on regardless.
