Wymsey Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Doubt it but hope Liverpool messed up again. Quite jealous of them!

Matt Posted 13 November 2016 Posted 13 November 2016 The mouthbreather released from the England squad, not sure if that's because they want to give the savour of England's strikeforce more of a rest or a flair up of his recent injury?
Dan Posted 13 November 2016 Posted 13 November 2016 Should never have been there in the first place. Suppose we'll never learn.
Donut Posted 13 November 2016 Posted 13 November 2016 I just find it astonishing how much people hate Kane. The words they use are vitriolic. It really surprises me.

Can you blame them for having a go at Kane for the fact that he was called up by England, but decided to go in spite of his injury problems when he could've declined and left his spot for a fitter player?

Like Drinkwater did. He pulled out and that gave Cresswell valuable experience in the squad.

It's just complete mis-management from everyone involved and it happens far too often. It doesn't benefit England, it doesn't benefit Spurs, it doesn't benefit Kane, it doesn't benefit say, Charlie Austin. Why does it happen?

Then we whine about players being pulled out for minor injuries and if players really wanted to play for England they would toughen up and play through it.

He's been out for 7 weeks and was hanging out his arse by half time against Arsenal. Doesn't take a genius to work out he wasn't fully fut.

Partly branding and sponsorship, but I'd also say that England have somehow reached a point where they think they can't manage without certain players, despite the fact they've never actually achieved anything with the country. Kane, Rooney, Ali, Hart, Henderson, plus others are among those that there becomes a huge panic if they are unavailable.

Was going to post exactly the same thing. How is the Kane's fault for getting picked whilst injured? Surely the blame is with England.

It's more strange than surprising for me.... A player that scores 20+ goals consecutively at top flight level (and will do again this season). Top player.

There are plenty of footballers who I don't like and some of them are far, far better than Harry Kane. Nothing strange about that.

Nothing strange about disliking somebody but some of the words used to describe him are strange. It's like some have a person vendetta.

I see a Spurs youth team player has been asked to train with the England first team. This is not the first time England has had Spurs youth teamers training with them. Nothing wrong with letting young lads train with England but always seems to be Spurs lads.Maybe they're hoping to learn from each other about winning things
