brucey Posted 10 May 2017 Posted 10 May 2017 last time I wore a watch I was about 7 years old, they feel pointless to me.. with a phone in everyone's pocket, they've become mostly fashion accessories really

And you're right they are an accessory nothing wrong with that.
Koke Posted 10 May 2017 Posted 10 May 2017 Nice to see that Southampton are losing. We stay 9th with same number of games played.

Wymsey Posted 10 May 2017 Posted 10 May 2017 They're a well-run club etc, but not sure why there's often hype towards Southampton? I thought they were strong earlier on in the season and that they'd compete for 7th or even 6th, but they seemed to have faded and to be honest look quite an average side.
Foxxed Posted 10 May 2017 Posted 10 May 2017 If Man City lose against us they're only goal difference above the Europa league position, and they'll have thrown away their game in hand to leapfrog Liverpool. They'll have a fair bit to play for.

Got a bit trollly there 2- yeah, but i do remember some biblical story from childhood where a rich guy gave some money to charity, and a poor old lady gave one penny, but it was all she owned. Guess which one Jesus gave most reps to But this is not really why Zlatan's giving up of those wages annoys me. It annoys me because it makes no difference to him or Man U, its just a gesture to reinstate his self-image as a lion-man to whom injury is not acceptable, 1- not familiar with that story but I will play along. Guess which amount of money helped more people. in this story, the old lady helped herself the most because she showed a kind heart and she could be rewarded. Those biblical stories concentrate on the moral aspect to teach that even the little things matter, that doesn't mean the rich guy's money worth less (in earth at least according to your story) 2-but you don't know what's in his heart do you? You know what they say about thinking less of other people with no avoidance to show for. You maybe right or wrong, who knows? It's just not fair to always demand them to act and do things in some kind of way.

They've scored 17 home league goals this season. Only Sunderland and Boro have scored less at home. A lot of them want Puel out as they see no progress but they will no doubt be told the classic "Whst do Southampton fans exoect" by the likes of Owen and Carragher and Savage.

I see Saints as the model to which we should aspire. League title aside, which nobody saw coming, I'd be happy for us to spend a few years punching above out weight with constant top 10 finishes and a system of continuity and good scouting in place.

I don't think consistent top 10 finishes would be punching above our weight. The fact is we had a good enough side to win the league title, the majority of which are still here. Anything other than consistent top 10 finishes would be fairly dissapointing. In my opinion, of course.

Won't ever spend crazy money on a watch but can't lie, some of those watches are just amazing Beautiful. I am mad about watches and if I ever had any serious dough, would collect far too many of them.

AyewJoking Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 those watches are pretty but so are some of the cheap ones on ebay from hong kong. as long as it tells the time and beauty is in the eye of the beholder whats the difference? apart from the cheap ones from hong kong that dont actually tell the time
