Stadt Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Batshuayi aside (who I don't think is a bad player) Chelsea's recruitment has been excellent. The Luiz signing was laughed but he's been outstanding, Alonso has allowed them to play their system as he balances his defensive duties well and obviously we all know about Kante. Chelsea are probably most well run side in the league, when you've got a good manager, decent recruitment and the right squad you're good enough to challenge for the title. The only sides that have struck that balance last season or this have been us, Spurs and Chelsea. Having said that I expect both Manchester clubs to get there sooner rather than later, Man City could well become a super club with their investment in their youth setup, facilities and sister teams.

StanSP Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Rob MacKenzie has gone from us, to Spurs, and now to Sunderland...
Webbo Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Guzan must be the shittest keeper in the league. 3 goals, all through his legs.
Izzy Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Cecs Fabregas is the first player in PL history to record 10+ assists in six different seasons apparently. Just thought I'd share that useless bit of information

Corky Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 So an almost entirely forgettable season ends in relegation for Middlesbrough. And to think I thought they'd be absolutely fine after seeing them play Sunderland off the park in August

AKCJ Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 The fact that Kante keeps Cesc Fabregas out of that Chelsea team just shows how unbelievable he is.

The Floyd Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Both Sunderland and Middlesbrough's relegation have been incredibly casual, do they even care?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Here... can we secure European football with an 8th placed finish?
Tuna Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 You'd have to be disappointed as a Middlesbrough fan waiting all those years to go up from the championship and when they got there went down with barely a whimper. At least Swansea or Hull will go down having actually had a go. Can't say that of Boro.
StanSP Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 26 goals scored all season. lowest out of top 4 divisions. that is shocking.
Aus Fox Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Interesting fact I have just been told: Hull have spent more days at the top of the Premier League than Spurs in the last two seasons.

Meanwhile Okazaki just had his first ever assist in nearly 2 seasons for us last week
Tuna Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 Honestly this premier league is so boring it's always either Chelsea or Leicester winning the thing !!!
