BoyJones Posted 12 May 2017 Posted 12 May 2017 Sat watching it in a hotel bar in Dubai, (le royal meridian) next to a Chelsea fan, he was worried sick they wouldn't do it, even with a seven point lead. Cause of my London twang he thought I was a Chelsea fan. Big hand shakes and drinks at final whistle. Told him him at half time it was a done deal and I was a Leicester fan, (wearing my shirt tomorrow) but really pleased they did do it, throughly deserved, they were the best team this year. Spuds huffed and puffed but ultimately don't know how to be clever enough to win enough games - they are too one dimensional, no plan B as I have alluded to in the past. Wish I could be there next Thursday, but booked the break before the revised Spuds fixture change, so I expect 90 minutes of non stop piss taking and I will be listening!!

Class Player!!! I would so love him to leave for Man City and win it with them too. Maybe he got Rudkin to draw up his Chelsea contract and there's a 70 million release clause. *prays*

Thats surley got to be sung vs Tottenham now Last year they came third in a two-horse race. This year they came second in a one-horse race. They were never in it this year. Chelsea are runaway champions and never looked like losing top spot for much of the season. Deserved champions. Now to mount our own challenge next season!

They were never in it last season - from after the Watford away game at the start of March our lead was never less than 5 points iirc.

That was the day they bottled it. 2-1 up at home against ten man Arsenal. A win would have put them top on GD with us playing later at Watford. they also bottled the away game at West Ham the night after we drew with West Brom. They were in it but we needed to bottle it and we all knew we wouldn't.

I've been saying how terrible we are at this for the last decade it just never gets better and one of the reasons i often mark Simpson down in the ratings. There's no excuse for it as the article states.

There's no excuse for it as the article states. It's embarrassing to see it. 95% of all footballers foul throw and this makes it so easy to get it onto someone's foot. I'd be more forgiving of those stats if players were taking legitimate throws and missing the mark, since legally throwing with accuracy is a skill.

There's no excuse for it as the article states. There's no excuse when it's a short throw, but as someone pointed out earlier we do use the long throw with Fuchs a lot, which are often headed away by a defender and that would come under the category of throwing it straight to the opposition. If we have 5 or 6 long throws a game, then that's the vast majority of the 297.

But sky and their narrative tried to make a story out of nothing to make it more interesting. Just because we were little Leicester, If it was man Utd or Chelsea then sky would have said it was pretty much done.

They have to try and keep the interest going whoever it is
Corky Posted 13 May 2017 Posted 13 May 2017 And Chelsea have lost two games recently, I'd say it was more of a race this season for a time.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 May 2017 Posted 13 May 2017 Expect Swansea to win comfortably, they are better than their position
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 May 2017 Posted 13 May 2017 would be amazing if it somehow ended with palace going down
Carl the Llama Posted 13 May 2017 Posted 13 May 2017 Tom Rostance being a bit sassy in the BBC live text today, Somebody give that man some goals.
