Drinkwater starts for England v Australia

Recommended Posts

Then can play a bit, cannot see them scoring though, lack a goal threat.

It's a fry cry from the team they had in 2003 or whatever it was

Oh yeah, they aren't as good as they were then, even when at full strength. But they ain't garbage.

It's so pointless. Drinkwater in a diamond, shoved wide and not even in his position. England are so bad. We have a little glimpse of quality - usually coming from Wilshere - other than that so boring.

If Woy picks Delph Henderson or sterling ahead of drinkwater then he is a total c#nt

Delph or drinkwater won't go.

Did think Danny would miss out but leaning towards Delp now (which would be the correct decision)

We all know he is in love with Henderson for some reason, he probably already knows where he is sitting on the plane.

We will see, it is a friendly and very much a team that won't start against Russia

Stones has had his best game in ages

Yeah, and we're playing a team that have their best players out and some aren't even professional. We're so bad.

To be fair to Drinkwater and Henderson, playing as the middle two of a diamond doesn't really allow you to 'dazzle' too much as it's more important for you to keep things simple and maintain shape. It's made harder still when your holding midfielder is crap.

We seem to be playing without a striker. Bizarre setup as usual

It's Hodgson. I know I go on but he's a joke. 5 in midfield and 1 up top ... again ... and in a friendly against Australia. It's ridiculous. We'll get stuffed in the European Championships.
