TMELcfc Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Squawka Twitter account now say Everton, even though there was a clause that Everton can buy no Leicester players as part of Walsh deal.
chapero82 Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Does not look like a guy who is ready to leave to me
st albans fox Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Everton make a bid? its only four days since we were told that Everton couldn't make a bid for Kasper anymore due to walshy. unless of course we want a bid to be made to get a price on a player higher. Might not be to do with selling him now - could be to do with any release/trigger clause in his new contract. Perhaps his agent wants it set at the price that we have currently had a bid at. Maybe arsenal did bid 37m. I need to watch less films I think!

Koke Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Ivan Gazidis basically saying they wont be splashing the cash. They got a £29m bid for Lacazette rejected and Arsenal refused to increase the bid, so I dont think they will pay £42m or more for Mahrez. I may end up having egg on my face but I firmly believe Mahrez wont go to Arsenal. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10514860/arsenal-wont-spend-big-money-to-compete-with-rivals-says-ivan-gazidis

mozartfox Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Given the rationale behind the closing of the Kaputska thread, this one should perhaps not be to far behind. It is getting more bizarre with each passing day. May be best now to wait and see what unfolds as opposed speculate everytime some new garbage appears on a random web-site.
Bamba's Babes Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 People need to vet what they read before posting on here. If every report from the past two weeks is quoting the same source (Eurosport & the Algerian paper) which have both been discredited by more reliable sources and agents, don't post it.
TMELcfc Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Algerian newspaper now back tracking saying their source close to Mahrez says there's no agreement with Arsenal. And the Everton agreement regarding players it seems cannot exist due to premier league rules... So might have been a gentleman a agreement.
RoyFox Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 Full U turn from La Beteur A source close to the player has revealed to us: 'No agreement with Arsenal for Mahrez' lebuteur.com/article/detail…
Babylon Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 I'd get a sickening amount of joy from kicking Arsenal in the balls for the second transfer running if he stays

Unclebuck1983 Posted 29 July 2016 Posted 29 July 2016 I am in hope he stays. This media circus that is being created sells papers and bumps players wages up through speculation, it could surely be stopped from a simple comment from Mahrez or his agent saying either way, but as true to football form until the 1st of September I'm afraid this will linger over us and most probably start again in January. I am surprised our Kit man isn't trying to get a pay rise or a transfer to a (so called) bigger club.
