MC Prussian Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 No way is this happening. Basically just another point that proves that since we've become Champions of England, our (younger) players are very sought after and put in the mix by the media at every single opportunity.
mozartfox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Everton massive club. Fantastic Stadium. Leave the Champions and the chance to play CL football for them. You do the logic. The Sun is never wrong.
Dynamogoon Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Just proves that the media talk rubbish. Linking all our players for no reason. I know Everton have history and now money. But seriously. Leave the league champions for a project that finished poorly last season?
Koke Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 John Cross is the chief football writer for the Mirror. He's on talksport and 5 Live often. Why isn't he asked why his paper gets SO much wrong. Their accuracy is so low. The Sun is even worse. The fake ForestEchoNews guys on Twitter said that De Gea had been sent home from the Spanish camp due to the controversy he's involved in. The Sun just took that and printed it as fact even though De Gea wasn't sent home at all.
ramadaone Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Mmmmmm... thinking about it... aren't the odds of that about 5000/1? Are they the odds you can get with a proper bookie ?
Foxxed Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 When they say 'our sources say' and 'we understand' do they mean 'some random on Twitter said'.

I can't remember the player but he was going to a different club in every paper according to a source close to the player/club. The journalists from those papers were on the show but they never get pulled up on it.
Steven Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Preparing a £20m bid apparently! At that price let him go. Use the cash for extra wages for Vardy, Kante and Mahrez. Plus extra for Slimani. You know it makes sense.
TheSomersetFox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Well, we have just brought in Zieler. A shred of truth in this perhaps? Probably some interest in Kasper somewhere
StanSP Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Don't see why Kasper would leave for mid-table fodder like Everton.
sylofox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 So a mirror reporter hears RK say he wants a Leicester City keeper. He then runs off and writes about Kasper. But RK said Schwartzer is on a free I rekon we could get him in. lol
jayfox26 Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Call me a cynic but isn't kasper negotiating a new contract? Surely a rumour like this demands another 10k/week ? Those pesky agents just doing their best for their clients. Gonna be happening all summer until each one signs up. At this rate our whole squad will be on £100k a week!!
smithy2000 Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 If you wouldn't take 20m for Kasper then you need to have a word..
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 If you wouldn't take 20m for Kasper then you need to have a word.. I understand what you mean but we don't need the money and Schmeichel is a big cog in our machine. There are better keepers no doubt, but his understanding with our defence is vital.
Gerard Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 If you wouldn't take 20m for Kasper then you need to have a word.. You could argue he was the best GK in the the PL last season. He's also very vocal and a leader of our team, he offers more than just his goalkeeping ability. we have about half a dozen players we should be doing what we can to keep, he is one of them. Everton is a big step down from Leicester at this moment in time.
dbtcity Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Ter stegan is apparently valued at 20m which shows you just how crazy an offer of 20m would be for Kasper.... I do rate Him but we could sign better for that sort of cash, that being said I'd be more than happy if we kept him as Gerard says he offers so much more than just being a good gk

Jimothy Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 De gea Neur aside who is a better goal keeper? Lloris maybe.
StanSP Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 De gea Neur aside who is a better goal keeper? Keylor Navas Hugo Lloris Thibault Courtois Gianluigi Buffon
casablancas Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Keylor Navas Hugo Lloris Thibault Courtois Gianluigi Buffon Id take lloris out of these four over Kasper. I know Buffon is immortal and one of the best ever but Kaspers delivery is of the upmost importance to how we play. His vocal command and team ethos is also very important.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 I think Kasper is very key to us. He's been at City since 2011 and he is a core member of how the current squad has built this famous spirit and togetherness. Not only his attitude but his qualities as well, he does make some excellent saves - sometimes crucial saves. Everton are a good club, no doubt, but I'd have thought he would stay given we will be playing CL football next season, plus probably continuing being a no1 here.
