Wouldn't it be great if rudkin had a release clause. We could all club together on here, buy him out and sack him.

We have probably the best squad in the clubs history, billionaire owners, ridiculous TV money and some are happy to sell our best players......imo Schmeichel is priceless like the vast majority of the 16-17 regulars.....we don't need to sell and Kasper is a top keeper who gets better every year and is entering the peak years.....hopefully the owners have more sense than some of our fans

That's true. Kasper would never go anyway.

Can't see this happening, Kasper has worked too hard for this team and might be his only chance at CL football. He will have a heart attack from Stones dicking about in the box.. Howard made a few mistakes last season but the games I saw it was from stones putting the defence under pressure. He'll never take a long goal kick again, just triangles between the back 5.

It's laughable to imagine him

leaving in our current situation. He's got his own style but Kasper's a terrific asset who's focus and profesionalism has undoubtedly helped us to all the sometimes unprecedented success we've enjoyed since he arrived.

Kasper's not just a good goalkeeper but a presence, another of the unusual number of guys we have in our club who demand the same consistent, ever-improving standards of others as they ask of themselves.

Kasper's part of a defence that in the words of Troy Deeney "never stops talking to one another"..

He epitomises our culture. "all for one, one for all, every week - an then some". .

You really can't put a price on people like because without them you've got no chance. .

Said this as soon as we signed Zieler but there could be more to this than meets the eye, Kasper is obviously a fantastic keeper but Zieler isn't far behind.

Whilst £20m is good market value for Kasper, I wouldn't want to sell him for that.

He brings so much more to this team and for me is one of the biggest reasons for our continued success. The period in the championship where we were going through keepers like there was no tomorrow was painful and although we have Zieler we should not be selling Kasper. He is as important to this team as anyone imo.

Besides, why the fvck would he leave? He's had chances to leave at the end of every season since we bought him but has stayed loyal. Even when we failed at gaining promotion and he was easily good enough for the Premier League, he still stayed with us. Why on earth would he leave after the season we've just had?

There's no way Kasper would leave us for Everton at this stage.

He's worked his way up from League 2 to be where he is now ready to play champions league football. He's well respected here, vice-captain and loves his teammates.

I'm sure his dad would have a word and tell him to stay where he is.

Unless Man. Utd come calling!!!???

Calm down . it's just little old Everton getting ambition mix up with ability . New owners new manager they have to be saying all the right things and sounding ambitious .  It's just not going to happen and Everton know it too.

I think Man United would be the only team in England that he would leave us for.

He grew up around that place and I believe he is a Man United fan. Though whilst De Gea is at the club I don't think they would ever be interested in him.

I'd guess this is a case of Kaspers agent trying to stir up a bit of interest in him to get a better deal at Lcfc.

Kasper has all the tools to become world class.

He's got all the ability in the world and the mental traits that others can only dream of.

If he carries on the way he has been improving in recent years then we'll regret taking 20m for him.

I've give you a like because it's nice to see a man admit he was wrong and change his opinion due to overwhelming evidence.  ;)

There's way too much competition for a Champions League place for him to think Everton can be a top 4 side in the next few seasons. We're there now so it makes sense for him to stay, at least for this season.

Geographically, a move to Everton would suit him. But I can only see it happening next summer if we've not finished in the top 4.

I was just going to say myself, on an overview Everton are probably a good club for him if he ever were to move, but Leicester are in the Champions League as we know, and I think in years to come, we will become a regular top side in the league, hopefully winning silverware and being a consistent competitor in Europe. If we manage that, players like Schmeichel will stay here long term I reckon.

Sorry? I've always rated him but his temperament has improved drastically in the last season or so and that was all that was holding him back.

Can only assume you're mixing me up with someone else.

I think he'll stay, he seems happy here and WE ARE IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MAN. I wouldn't take Everton lightly though. New ownership, new manager and they're being linked with some very good players. They also plan to be playing in a new stadium within the next few years. They're a more attractive proposition than some might think.

And again this just shows how the football establishment view last season. They all think it was a fluke and that we are still little old Leicester, ripe to be plundered. Hopefully they will learn the truth this coming season.

More attractive than Burnley, Dull and WBA, I give you that.
