Like I said I rate Schmeichel and he's been one of the best keepers we've Had since walker/flowers but keepers don't command the same sort of fees as outfield players! 20m is a crazy price for him imo, would I sell him... Would be a tough decision but if he said he wanted to go and we received 20m I'd be hugely confident we'd replace him, and probably with a better gk for cheaper... That being said we may have already just signed a top top gk who may replace him for 3m

Guest Col city fan Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 It is going to be interesting if we keep Kasper. The new keeper is a VERY good goalkeeper and I doubt he's going to be wanting to warm the bench for the whole season. And Kasper hates being benched.

We have probably the best squad in the clubs history, billionaire owners, ridiculous TV money and some are happy to sell our best players......imo Schmeichel is priceless like the vast majority of the 16-17 regulars.....we don't need to sell and Kasper is a top keeper who gets better every year and is entering the peak years.....hopefully the owners have more sense than some of our fans
