apple987 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Yes he makes a wonder save every now and then, but his kicking tends to be poor and he doesn't fill me with confidence anymore. I would actually prefer Fraser Forster in goal. It seems Hart is untouchable
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Don't think I've ever heard Joe Hart called one of the best in the world. He's the best you've got and the least of your worries tbh.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Yes he makes a wonder save every now and then, but his kicking tends to be poor and he doesn't fill me with confidence anymore. I would actually prefer Fraser Forster in goal. It seems Hart is untouchable Hart's a really good keeper when he keeps things simple... but for whatever reason, he feels the need to what I can only describe as 'pounce about' when on international duty. I also question his ability to organise a defence - there is a skill to it, some keepers will get a better tune out of a back 4 (and any back 4) than others, and Fraser seems to have that quality about him, he and the back 4 look much more assured. But Hart has the jersey and I don't see Roy making a change and on balance its not something you can massively disagree with.
Fox92 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Good goalkeeper, best we've got. Makes the odd mistake, some high profile, but other than that he's comfortable in all aspects of his game.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Thinks he's a leader but really he's about as inspirational as a beige carpet. Never getting dropped though sadly.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Currently Forster is better and should have the shirt. Hart hasn't been pushed for his position for a long time. I think it's probably the first time England have had two equally good GKs since the Shilton/Clemence days.
foxfanazer Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Won't be dropped until he retires like everyone else in that squad
Bert Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Great keeper. Has his faults but so does everyone. Big voice in the dressing room.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Ever since those Head and Shoulders adverts, he has gone well pooo
SystonFox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Ever since those Head and Shoulders adverts, he has gone well pooo Such a shamepoo. Great keeper. Has his faults but so does everyone. Big voice in the dressing room. As soon as that header connected on Saturday you knew it was in. Hart was in no mans land. It wasn't even going top bin like Huths
onekeithweller Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 His distribution is very poor, he seems to wait until the opposition have been given enough time to organise their shape and then he kicks the ball into touch.
Munshi Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Said it before the Euros, would rather start with Forster
filbertway Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Top keeper and a great presence behind the defence. It's annoying that we have 3 very good keepers yet could only manage to call up one winger when we play a system that requires at least 2.
Webbo Posted 16 June 2016 Posted 16 June 2016 Terrible effort today. He couldn't complain if Forster played next game.
foxfanazer Posted 16 June 2016 Posted 16 June 2016 Bag of wank! Had nothing to do in either game and he's conceded two goals
Tielemans63 Posted 16 June 2016 Posted 16 June 2016 I think he's been a brilliant keeper for City and for England but over the last 12 months he's definitely shown signs of pretty rapid decline. Hodgson won't drop him though. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
