Raw Dykes Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Been offered 1 yr deal http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-offer-Wasilewski-year-deal/story-29386394-detail/story.html Fantastic! I think he's definitely still got another year in him yet, judging on the few times he played this season just gone. His experience will be valuable.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Delighted Great opposition in practice games if nothing else. Love the guy. Wouldn't fancy being the one to tell him hes not wanted

dylanlegend Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Cool, we don't need to spend 20m on a CB when we have this fella!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Glad he's been offered a contract, thoroughly deserved! Not entirely convinced he'll accept it though. He's good enough to be a regular starter at a lower level. Wouldn't surprise me if Pearson offered him a year at Derby

ThaiFox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 One of our most important signings in this era in my opinion. Not only a class act, but obviously a fantastic club and squad man too. Two things stand out in my memory that put this guy right up there. First was his attitude when we were playing Yeovil at home and were 1-0 down. NP subs him and not only does he accept it without any silly antics, but sprints to the touchline so we can get the sub on quickly and the game flowing again. Kasper scored in the last minute (although it was given to Wood). The second was at Arsenal this season. Came on as a sub after Simpson was sent off and his clumsy mistake in the last minute cost us a draw. He was visibly upset at the final whistle, having cost us the game. Didn't play again until the final game at Chelsea, then puts in a storming performance. I hope he stays and I'd love to see him move into a coaching role with the club after he retires. He will always be one of my favourite players.
IsItMuzzy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Hope he signs purely because his chant is the best one we have Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Max Power Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Think he should step into the Mike Stowell role of fourth official abuser when he retires.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Was thinking about this the other day. If he can't play, get him on a contract behind the scenes. Great guy! I reckon he'll go back to RSCA after he finishes with us, he's adored there.
AyewJoking Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 does this mean we arent after john stones any more???
Bamba's Babes Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 He'll start the first game of the season too with Huth suspended.
Chester Dontlie Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Brilliant news! Wenger is interested in Wasyl. He should be. One look in Wasyl's eyes and his chronic constipation is a distant memory Sad git should try the cheap option and just have Wasyl's photo printed out, no need to buy the whole Leicester team
weller54 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He'll start the first game of the season too with Huth suspended. Against Arsenal and marking Vardy?
glenny_fox Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He'll start the first game of the season too with Huth suspended. Assuming we haven't signed another defender by then.
shen Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 He seems a great bloke and the consummate professional, team player and self-less(renouncing a Prem winner's medal?!) You can never fault his commitment and despite his at times erratic playstyle, I am not particularly worried when he plays. Excellent backup and great for the dressing room if he stays!
foxile5 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Will he sign the contract or just eat it? Is this an a Always Sunny reference
