A much more cohesive performance and Woy got his substitutions correct. We actually looked dangerous going forward. Pretty shakey at the back mind you. But starting Vardy and Sturridge we can always go for the fifa tactic of I'll score more than you approach.

I actually think we'd played better against Russia. Whether that's down to Wales defending deeper I'm not sure.

Nah..

First half v Russia was good. Second half was dire.

First half today was poor. Second half much better.

To do well in this tournament we have to become consistently better rather than this good one half, poor the next scenario.

Only saw twenty minutes so can't comment on the game, delighted to win and hopefully we'll top the group now. Good lad Vards as well.

I am over the moon that we managed to turn this around but I hope this do not take the attention away from Hodgson, he is still shocking.  Sterling and Kane started when they were rubbish, Vardy on the bench and I thought his decision to bring on Rashford to play him on the wing was a strange one especially when Wales was loading the midfield. I would have taken Lallana or Alli off for Wilshere.  Rashford did best he could to be fair to him.

I am also really happy that we seem to have finally found a place for Rooney and that he is coming in some form at the last.

Reverse of the Russia game to me.

1st half in the Russia game they played well (the best in a long time), 2nd half it was normal service resumed. Boring.

Today it was a shit 1st half, fairly decent 2nd. Vardy and Sturridge changed the game.

Woy finally grew some, especially when putting Rashford on.

Now, the litmus test...the line up in the next game, what you gonna go Woy, try and regain a little bit of respect or continue looking like an absolute simpleton.

SHIT! I'm not meant enjoy or praise England I?!! (According to some in the Russia thread).

All I will say is and what concerns me is this has papered over the cracks, this makes everything alright in some people's eyes, it's not. Like I say we'll see who starts in the next game...

In a way, bale scoring helped us because it made Roy make some positive decisions - you could say that goal changed the game but not in Wales favour. It gave us a kick up the backside. Hopefully Hart might get dropped now because he is so prone to making errors.

If I was a welsh fan, I would be seriously worried, particularly with Calamity Williams at the centre of defence. Russia must have a good game in them and they could end up 2nd with a win and Wales going home early. Particularly if Roy reverts to type and we start off with our negative formation against Slovakia.

Won the league, doesn't matter. If England win the Euros you can start to compare

You fecking what?!

With Roy at the helm it'll be Kane and Sturridge with Vardy coming off the bench if needed.

I'd drop Sterling Kane and Alli for Sturridge Wilshire and Vardy

Thought Walker was great with his runs but second half refused to cross the ball. Each time dropping it back to the top edge of the 18 when there was no shot on. Thought we could have broke a little quicker on occasion but each time we held the ball up. Wales always were given time to set themselves up defensively.

Great to get the win and hope Roy puts together an attacking line up including Vardy for the next match

Walker is actually quality, was our best player against russia. Gerrimin.

He's fast and can run up and down the wing all day, but he needs to put a ball over to the forwards from the half way line, not from the by-line because it just's ends up a 50-50 with the opposition defense. He'd be no good in a counter attacking system.

set myself up to SHHDKAKDNSJFJNF FIAHSHSOSJA FINNE GAN HAHDOANAIDHZHAJSOEN

Pushed your luck with a moment of Arsenal-esque attacking prowess at the end. lol

This game really reminded me of our 2-1 loss at the Emirates this past season.

Fair play to Woy finally seeing sense and when using Vardy he played him down the middle, I was shocked! 10 minutes on he scores...coincidence?

The big questions that I imagine will be answered in the next game (Or few) is did Woy feel pressured into his changes today or has he finally learnt some lessons? Please, please, please let it be the latter.
