HighPeakFox Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Reading back through this match thread makes me momentarily wish that the right to vote had to be earned by not being a reactionary berk.
Simo86 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 That was me last night pretty much I was giving my son his bottle when we scored the winner
AyewJoking Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 reminds me of the night Sir Eden Hazard secured the title and my wife storms in telling me to be quiet as my daughters in bed. I was like, "shut the fúck up bitch!!, get me more beer!"

foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Hodgson thinks he is great, but the team won despite him... he is doing everything to make us lose
Dames Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Surely Vardy has to start the next game now? Not with Roy in charge. He'll start Sturridge over Sterling though and the rest will remain unchanged.
Bert Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 A point v Slovakia gets us through then. Can't see any reason why we don't top the group as we should be able to see Slovakia off. Predicted us top with 7 and still standing by that. I think that we'd stand a better chance of going even further by coming second looking at the routes through but if we want to win it we've got to beat the best.
Fox92 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Hodgson thinks he is great, but the team won despite him... he is doing everything to make us lose He put three strikers on which was the obvious thing to do when we were losing (although he should have started with two up front anyway). But as Keown said we need a proactive manager not a reactive manager.

Which is why we Wales let in that flukey winner to be second in the group. Easier route to the final! ;-)
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Nah. I reckon young Scouse is a bit of a #lad Aye a five year old
AKCJ Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 There was a Welshman by the name of Finnegan. He was on FT giving it the biggun. When sturridge scored the tears begun again. Poor old Welshman Finnegan-manginegan
ScouseFox Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 joe hart is my new hero. not even bothered it was completely his fault we went 1-0 down. the way he celebrated makes it all ok.
Ric Flair Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 It's fairly blatant that we're going to win this fcuker.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 It's fairly blatant that we're going to win this fcuker. Come on England! thought we played brilliantly yesterday and certainly deserved the win, Rooney looks great in that midfield role too. He is like a new player
foxes21 Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Vardy is going to win us this tournament. When we have to play Germany, Spain, etc later on & we need to sit back, his pace is the perfect weapon for those games

When we have to play Germany, Spain, etc later on & we need to sit back, his pace is the perfect weapon for those games Vardy won us the league , and is going to do the same for England... Hodgson tried to leave him out and make Kane look better but even he can't stop the inevitable.
Thracian Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Hodgson got lucky in having better attackers on the bench than on the pitch and in having his hand forced into using them. He's convinced me of nothing as a tactician or motivator. What I did have sympathy for were his comments about the Welsh. Indeed I'm genuinely watching this competition and hoping all the UK teams do well. No, not against us, but against anyone else. Maybe it's the Leicester connection in all three. Cos I've never been much interested in international football otherwise. Apart from 1966 I've found it almost inevitably disappointing. I detest the slow, painstaking build up with affected for so many years. What yesterday's changes did most was to give us some urgency, devil and determination that should have been there from the off and ought to be there through every match as a given. Once that urgency was apparent, Wales realised they were under relentless pressure. Their cause wasn't helped by Ledley's loss but in the end that pressure resulted in the kind of panicky, frenzied defending that made our scoring goals more likely. It's always been the way forward for me but I just hope Hodgson had his eyes open.
Finnegan Posted 17 June 2016 Posted 17 June 2016 Lolz finners chat shit get banged son Haha. Yeah it's all in good fun (although Donut seems a bit emotional about the whole thing.) You know me well enough to know I'll be back to gobbing off by next time we play. All part of the game!!

You should still get through, but you'd of probably won the group if you'd held out yesterday. Got to go for the win and try and pick up a 2nd place team and who knows we've had stranger results than dropping point to Slovakia.
