Sankey93 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 I have a gut feeling we will be a force to reckon with, and everyone will fear us.
Izzy Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Depends on who stays, who go's and who we sign. Too early to say at this stage for me...
st albans fox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Depends on who stays, who go's and who we sign. Too early to say at this stage for me... Keep the first 11 intact and add five quality players who fit into the ethic of the club and yes, we certainly can defend our title. New managers at other clubs will likel struggle to hit the ground running because they need to fiddle around with those teams. klopp similarly. Arsenal should be the title favourites IMO. They have the most stability going into this season.
promised land Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Fcuk top 4 we're winning the whole thingagain No one can take it away from us now, it's funny when you mention winning the league as now fans from other clubs have to take it seriously as we've proved we can do it. So why not? Let's upset the top table at the party again.
Vacamion Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Top 4, with everything else we have going on in the coming season and in light of where we have come from, would be an unbelievable outcome. I know there are those in here who think we are already an established top club (we're not) and that talk of us not being as brilliant again next season is "talking the club down", but I think we shouldn't get all Billy Big Bollocks. Frankly, having won it (they can't take that away from us) I would be pleased with top 10 and over the moon with top 4.
Vlad the Fox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 No kante.. No top 4! As big a loss as Kante would be if he went its wouldn't be the end of the world. Having him in the team allowed us to play a certain way, if he goes we'll slightly change it to accommodate his loss and whoever comes in to replace him. Hey we're champions, dilly ding dilly dong.
Sir Shep Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Yeah it's hard to say when I don't know who's staying and who we are likely to sign, 40 points as soon as possible for me then take it from there.
gerrytaggart Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Even if we have a terrible season Ill still be celebrating winning the league...and this will continue forever.

For me losing Kante is like losing two midfielders.. The guy is irreplaceable! ..think it would be the end of the world if he goes!
foxfanazer Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Dependant on keeping Kante, Vardy and Mahrez. I just don't see another Kante out there to be honest and Vardy is instrumental to how we play.

I agree it would be a huge loss and I'd be gutted, but Ranieri showed his tactical genius last season and I feel he will have a plan to accommodate for his loss should he decide to go. That may mean 3 in midfield or we may find someone else who can play a similar role.

foxinsocks Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 if Kante is like two in midfield (...I agree..) then maybe we should give him two pay packets

They have the most stability going into this season. Every single year Arsenal go into the season as one of the favourites, with the 'most stability', which starts off alright, but that stability begins to dissipate every year without fail as they start to pick up injuries and cock up a match or two that they should win at a canter. For us, top 4 will be the obvious target. I don't think we could be too aggrieved with a top 8 finish though, and I'd be very happy with top 6.
foxes161 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 We won't get close to top 4 if we don't keep the team together.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 I tend to think top ten would be good. Top six/four would be even better and of course it's not impossible for us to win the title again which would be mega. It really depends on who stays and the quality we bring in.
sylofox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 No kante.. No top 4! No cambiasso we will be doomed how can we ever replace him. Had he signed for another season we would have won the league. Hhhhmmmmmmm hang on a minute we did win it without Cambiasso.
