Haven't got a clue why anyone would want Mangala. He'd obviously cost loads in fee and wages and this "potential" seems a bit misguided, it's like being young automatically qualifies you as being potentially top drawer these days.

imo jonny evans over michael keane. He has the united connection, will know zieler, simpson, drinkwater & james already, a no-nonsense defender and has pl/cl experience so he can hit the ground running.

we can sign keane next season when he's got a years pl experience under his belt. also next summer keane will only have a year left on his contract so we'll be able to get him on the cheap.

And if he has a cracking season then we probably won't get him.

Wouldn't mind as he's one of their better players and Dyche would be even more annoyed with us 'poachers' if he ever came.

Though he'll be a sub at best.

He's one for the future, our CB's are getting long in the tooth

This. It's going to be very difficult to replace Morgan and Huth so we need to be bringing some young blood through

No one needs to sell with this TV deal, just look at Watford's handling of Deeney & turning down a near £40m bid for Ighalo

Also, Burnley pocketed the PL money last time they came up & down, so it would take a monumentally silly bid for him to leave with the transfer deadline approaching - Will we do that? I doubt it, maybe we should, not that he'd be worth it, but he could be worth it to us in the future

You lose your loyalty bonus from your selling Club if you request a transfer, one way to ensure that you don't is to publicly deny you want a transfer whilst your agent is working in the background tarting you around....

I see Jeff Hendrick has signed for Burnley.  Could be an indication that Keane is on his way out.  Long shot I know - but hey.

Whatever happened to David 'he's better than Drinkwater' Jones?

He got relegated with Scott 'nothing between him & Mahrez' Arfield.
