Not bothered if he goes. If it means Slimani comes in then seeya later, Leo and thanks for your goals.

He already looks as though he is running against waves of thick jelly, so sell him for £35m to some Chinese club and we're all happy.

You do realise a photograph is a still image and that whoever publishes these photos onto our website is very unlikely to post a picture of him looking miserable don't you? Seriously, because he can smile for 1 second doesn't mean he hasn't asked to leave.

Well someone's got there fvcking nickers in a twist

hahaha probably, the amount of times I read ' Well he looks happy in that picture' on this forum does my head in. Such a daft thing to say.

That's not how they'll view it. It's not just Sky either but it just so happens to be Sky in question here. There is very little doubt in my mind that the authorities and TV companies will hope we fade back into what we were. They will always want the more marketable clubs up there.

Probably more a case of build them up to knock them down if anything... Leicester doing well isn't much of a story now, we had that all last year. Leicester losing players, Leicester doing badly... gives everyone a new angle.

More paper and media claptrap to try and de stabilize our great club.  Keep bashing them they will fail.  First of all, all our top players want out, Mahrez, Vardy, Kante, Drinkwater etc etc.

Why does the cynical side of me think this "tension at the club" is being conveniently manufactured by Sky as they see us as a threat?

Why do we always get these paranoid conspiracy theories?  Sky/BT couldn't buy the kind of publicity we brought them last season, we were headline news all over the world. It's quite feasible that the story is basically correct. He sees everyone else getting a pay rise and other signings ahead of him in the pecking order and thinks his future lies elsewhere. Why on earth would anybody want to destabalise the club?

I agree regards conspiracy theories. Just stupid.

I do think it's a load of rubbish made up by Sky as click bait to fill their news page, though. Not that sky are the only "news" source that do it regards football.

Let's face it, 95% of football rumours are absolute fiction.

If Leo wants out it's almost certainly just because he wants first team football somewhere, which is fair.

The idea that the squad has gone from the most harmonious in the Prem to tense and fractious in the space of a couple of weeks because a few key players inevitably got new contracts is farcical to say the least and, at worst, fairly offensive to the professionalism of the players.

If we allow leo to go then it will only be on the basis that we have someone else coming if to take his role of bigger striker/hold up player.

Sigurdsson has the technical ability to be that hold up player imo.

..... So why would Swansea want Leo?

Aerial threat/physical striker to replace Gomis?

Swansea play with an out an out target man when they played Gomis. We don't. Even when we play Leo he is either alongside or behind Vardy, and now we have musa and still okazaki.

nooooo -  completely different animals.

How?

For me, Ulloa doesn't win enough in the air anyways, and his technical ability is inferior to Gylfi.

and they will buy Joe allen

already considered bid

this makes sense

tbh if they sold Gylfi and bought Leo and Joe Allen, another one of the relegation places is sorted.

How does what you've described just there come across as "tension at the club"? That's hardly tension, that's more natural. Sky are implying there are issues behind the scenes at Leicester which are why he wants out, not what you've just said.

Sorry what? Sigurdsson is not a forward and is definitely not a 'hold up player'..

Said it so many times but can't believe how under appreciated Ulloa is by some. Ok he is a bit of a confidence player but he's so effective coming off the bench at 60 minutes and holding the ball up. Can't be bothered to go into it all again but i think people would quickly realise how much he was missed if he were to go.

The thought of only Musa, Vardy, Shinji as forward options is so one dimensional and not to mention tiny!

I'm sorry, but you cant class Okazaki as a forward option but not Gylfi, as Gylfi would play where Okazaki plays now.

As for what a 'hold up' player is, it doesn't have to be someone who is 6ft3+ and great in the air. Vardy is often used as an out ball, and can be required to 'hold up' the ball.

Leo is nearly 30, doesn't really have a chance of challenging for the first XI, so why shouldn't we look to cash in and improve the squad?

It's them fookin aliens at Roswell fookin it up for us.

At least we won the PL because the American government blew up the twin towers.

Nooooo not Leo :(

We need a target man option as an alternative way of playing so if he goes then surely we'll be going for a replacement. Slimani is the obvious choice if we could get him.
