Tuna Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 7 million ? Pathetic. That's Dyche levels of underpaying.
dylanlegend Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 If Ulloa leaves Rondon would be a great option.... Edit: I honestly wrote that before reading the Berahino thread

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Leo aint going anywhere, he's a bloody gem
Mezeker Posted 23 July 2016 Posted 23 July 2016 if we can get any type of value for this guy we should offload him. Although he scored vital goals for us last year he is really beneath the level of player we need in the squad. If his 7 million goes towards us getting Slimani please take him off our hands.
FireFox Posted 23 July 2016 Posted 23 July 2016 I can't see us giving him an extension of another 2 years, and we'll obviously not offer him anything more than 50k, but maybe give him a lot more in bonuses for goals and appearances or something, just vastly improve the bonus structure of it and add on one more year You never know what could happen next season, we have a ton of unlucky injuries and finish outside the European places. Maybe then Mahrez and Vardy and Musa leave. But if Ulloa's around, we can stay calm and know he'll get the job done the season after.

Tanya Posted 23 July 2016 Posted 23 July 2016 I like Ulloa, but I would prefer it if we could get an upgrade. He runs hard but looks a bit slow and isn't quite as cutting edge needed. I would trust him to do the job against Hull, Sunderland etc but not against the big boys.
foxoffderby Posted 24 July 2016 Posted 24 July 2016 Earlier in this topic I said we should sell and buy slimani, I still think the same but he was very good yesterday . I think a fee of 15/16 million then upgrade on slimani
Clever Fox Posted 24 July 2016 Posted 24 July 2016 In the current market he's better than what we're paying him. Had an excellent game yesterday, has the right attitude and offers something different. Unlucky not to score yesterday. I'd prefer to keep him.
psychonaut Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 I dont want any player that had a significant role to play in what happened last season to ever leave this club. One of the legendaries.

st albans fox Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 Watching the first half from Saturday. Up against two average centre halves and he did very little constructive. we really can do better.

He has returned to preseason in excellent shape and would cost £15m to replace - I would let Shinji go before Ulloa and for me I would reward him with a new deal.
Strokes Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 Pay the man god dammit. Seriously though I thought he looked decent on Saturday and I wouldn't be upset if he was given a new deal within the pay structure. He is a good professional, proven by his attitude last season and £7million doesn't go far in this sport. If they were offering more and we had a reasonable replacement lined up, it might be a bit more tempting.
UPinCarolina Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 Ulloa is a known commodity who has served LCFC well, and whose shown the ability to be a clutch performer. Selling him would be madness.
foxoffderby Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Sky Sports yellow ticker bar now. Swansea have made an enquiry for Ulloa City to respond

Gerard Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Sell for £10m 30 years old 4th choice striker Two years left on his contract What sort of return are we going to get from him playing wise over the next two years? At £40k a week and a £10m offer it will cost us £14m to keep him as 4th choice striker. It's great business to sell squad players who aren't going to get any better for good money.
Samilktray Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Why would he give up probably his only chance to play in the champions league to go to Swansea?
