Goober Posted 16 August 2016 Share Posted 16 August 2016 Drinky needs to stay or we're fvcked I reckon. Really hope he signs on cos he's brilliant and I love him. Stay Drinky!
Guest Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Does anybody else think Drinky looks a bit like the lovechild of David Brent and Henning Wehn?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Bit of a pisstake demanding 100k a week. I can't even get a job in a call centre for 300 quid a week.

The price of 'Brotherhood'. In all seriousness, losing a lot of respect for some of these players at the minute.

You have to lay the blame at the doorstep of the management by settling deals with far too much money on the table, in particular, Kasper...but not just him. Sol thewall Bamba Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Getting proper fed up of all the media attention at the moment. Classic "build 'em up and knock 'em down". Also The Sun can just get fvcked generally, absolute scumbags, why anyone buys that load of shit I will never know.
ScouseFox Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 is this even slightly true or just the sun?
ronnup Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Makes me laugh when people 'get annoyed' with the nasty media trying to 'knock us down'. Very tin pot attitude. Rejecting a contract isn't a big deal. What's he have to do, accept the first offer or he's a traitor? He's not going anywhere, he's just negotiating his future at the time when his stock is probably higher than it could ever be again.
Fox 4 Life Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Eriksen rejected a contract at spurs mid season and was still one of their best players. It's still not resolved. Just business

Precedent has been set unfortunately when you give your keeper who was competent but far from outstanding 100k a week for winning the league the midfield engine that played nearly every game is going to want parity at least. Is he really on a 100k Kasper ? Really ? Im asking here because I haven't seen it anywhere and everyone is saying it giving Kasper 100k and letting Kante without making a huge play to keep him seems mental can't believe Kasper is getting 100k drinky should be looking 120k if that's the benchmark

ARM1968 Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Give him £60k a week rising to £100k per week if we win. Equal itself out over the season but gives him something to aim for.

st albans fox Posted 17 August 2016 Author Share Posted 17 August 2016 They were all spot on about vardy and mahrez starting for arsenal on Saturday. He won't be on that without all the bonus' that his agent could think of inc PL and CL winners medals. Drinks will sign a new deal. He knows we won't sell him. Maybe the mahrez deal will now stop the nonsense in the press where clubs think they can just pluck our players from our squad.
biggs Posted 17 August 2016 Share Posted 17 August 2016 Very likely going nowhere so get the wage sorted out now so we can focus on what matters to win. This last major distraction is not doing the team any good although he himself played well last game. Now Mahrez has committed to 4 years we are very close to a focused team mindset going forward. Sign Drinkwater to a wage this week please.

Sign Drinkwater to a wage this week please. No distraction. He's fine and is leaving his agent to get the best deal. He's one of our top 3 players and therefore deserves to be on a par with our top earners. They get on with the negotiating whilst he plays football, does his best for LCFC and hopefully gets picked to play for England now we have a half decent manager instead of that clueless chump. He doesn't want to leave. Chill.
