Vardinio'sCat Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 is quite a lot. How do you think we will cope? and do you think our all-action style will mean extra pressure on CR to rotate? Apparently we only used 18 players last season (presumably that's in the PL), so how many games before we pass that number this time. I'll go for another 7 games, so 10 games in.
JamesfromlondonLCFC Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 honestly, i love it. gonna be difficult but i love watching us play. got faith in the lads, excited. but i agree the staff and players are gonna have a challenge in terms of fitness demand. also we will pass the 18 player mark before the end of september
weller54 Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 1 game every 3 days.. Yikes! Wonder how many DD will play in? No obvious replacement for him that's the problem!
tsintskaro Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Fist team against Liverpool and Brugge.lucky they got Burnley next week - King,Musa,Gray,Kapustka,Ulloa,Chilwel,Hernandez,Zieler and if there is problem substitute Mahrez and Vardy nobody cares about cup game against Chelsea, maybe development squad there So they will have a good rest for 1 week and then Manchester game, after that they have game against Porto in leicester so wise rotations and this hard time may be passed not bad
Collymore Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Thank god! This international break has absolutely killed me. I hate weekends without club football, it's the worst thing imaginable.
ScouseFox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 just like being in the championship which half our squad did with ease.
ajthefox Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Should be good, will get to see a lot of more of all of our recent signings.
fuchsntf Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Like Scousefox posted, Championship football..!! This time we have a bigger and more talented squad. Rotation will be the order of the next 2-3 months, because its not just about the real hard periods. The squad will earn and prove its potential in this period, plus every individual will have major parts to play and prove their individual worth to the cause. We are now as club and fans, stepping into the incredible exciting unknown. Strap yourself in, and get ready for the ride of your life.... One request.. have patience and give manager and individuals leeway and slack.

lcfcben76 Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Absolutely love the fixture conjestion, means more times I can see us play and we get to see more players play. Have faith in our squad though the depth we have now is incredible so I can't wait
Wymsey Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 Wish these international games were all together on the same days, as it maybe would've pretended this from happening.

BoyJones Posted 8 September 2016 Posted 8 September 2016 11 hours work in 22 days, doesn't get much tougher.

Hi Steve, it was a bit tongue in cheek, but they are well paid, trained and coached, plus first class everything, so I would hope they can cope. Will you be in the Beehive in October!

Plenty of time for Chilwell, Slimani, and someone else to make his first league start by October 2nd.

We can't expect to win games by ignorantly underestimating our opponents or overestimating what our players can do. I don't find too much comfort in 2nd string Leicester vs. a week rested first team Burnley.

Hull game was totally different it was fist game and all of them were 40-50% fit I think against Burnley it will be 1-0 game like they used to do in the second half of the last season

We played a competitive game 6 days before. Our opponents had 14 fit players and didn't make a change in 90 minutes.

Crikey, that many (I knew that of course ) We are going to need a lot more medals this year...
lgfualol Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Hope not buying another CM or a RB doesnt come back to haunt us before January. Apart from that, so many games to watch fuuuuck yes

foxy boxing Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 It is a lot of games in a short space time but that is what being successful means, it is also a lot of travelling too but we will just have to get use to it if it means more success and Claudio will have to manage the team to be able to cope with the workload
