I don't think we should rotate for this game, massively important to win this, so we pick the best team to beat Burnley, that might mean a change around in line up but not rotation for rotations sake, especially with the league cup coming up. That will be the platform for Musa, Gray, Chilwell etc to prove they are capable of slotting in and not weakening the team.

Burnley will be a different proposition to last night. Simply, they are a much better team with some dangerous players.

Can't see past a home win though

2-0 us

This is where we see if Claudio is brave enough to rotate a few players. I would see how they are in training and perhaps stick with the same again unless any are carrying knocks or looking particularly jaded. If changes are needed then would like to see Chilwell play, as well as Musa and Gray to get a start maybe. Tough call for Claudio though. I suspect there will only be 1 change, if any!

A potential banana skin, we can't take this one lightly!

Going for a hard-earned home win, think the momentum from Brugge will carry us through. Given we have Porto on Tuesday I expect to see us rotate quite heavily and can see us starting with Ulloa / Musa / Grey. Excited for the game already!

Chelsea in the cup on Tuesday.

I would expect squad rotation, partly to rest players and partly to get some game time for the fringe players.

Slimani to start, but tough on Shinji.

We should not rotate quite heavily for this game. Don't be ridiculous. We need three points with our strongest team. Then rotate in the cup against Chelsea.

Same team would suit me. I was originally on the drop-albrighton hype but man has he made me feel stupid.

Hopefully Gray, Slimani or Musa get their first goal for us. Also someone tell Schmeichel to not give them any open goals to shoot at on freekicks.

Everyone giving it Billy Big Bollocks, remember that we've had a pretty stuttering start to the league and these beat Liverpool 2-0 a few weeks back.

Whilst you've got to be beating Burnley at home if you expect top half football, this game isn't a foregone conclusion and I would snatch yer arm off for a scrappy 1-0 win.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Slimani. And to see what happens in the midfield if Mendy is fit.

Amarty is looking good. I like how much possession he was given against Brugges. Our players trust him and this is a good sign. He's strong on the ball and knows how to play it simple. I can only see him getting better as he becomes more confident.

I'd be surprised if Mendy comes in over Amartey

The thread starter has a knack for regular overreactions - nothing gray with @weller54, only black or white, doom or heaven. lol

We all know what Burnley can do with the limited means they have at their disposal (they thrive on that image under Dyche) and I find it tough to go into this game with too much euphoria following our first CL win on our debut. Let's see how the players cope with the travel and schedule and let's find out how Burnley come to the King Power.

You bet they won't allow us any space in midfield or defense, I can't see Sean Dyche being one of the risky kind, especially not away from home and with the squad that he has.

Plus, keep an eye out for Defour.

Remember how they parked the bus against Liverpool and despite all the stats pointing to the guests, they won 2-0. Expect more of that on Saturday.

You're right. Got my fixtures confused! Strongest team for Saturday with rotation for the cup then it is!

Think Armartey will be a regular starter from now on. Mendy for me is now definitely behind him. For a twenty one year old he looks very solid. It was not his fault we got over run I'm midfield against Pool. It was in my mind the fault of Ranieri not realizing Klopp was going to load the midfield  and we we're just outnumbered. We should have replaced Okazaki with King at half time, not Musa. If we had done that we might have made a game of it. Armartey is going to be one heck of a player and a key part of this club for a long time. For the Burnley game we need to keep it tight and make sure we score the first goal, then as the game gets older we rotate out for Gray and  Musa . We really need to win this game to build some momentum and confidence. I would take 1-0 in a heartbeat. Ranieri will rest players against Chesea.

Dare I say it after our stuttering start this is looking like a must win game.

Obviously we need the points  but we also need to show we can win a game after a Euro trip.
