Nail on the head. Last year was one in a million, now we are mid table Prem, about as high as we can normally expect to be.

Even mid-table teams don't get smacked out as consistently as we've been getting!

Will there be any Amartey apologists after this? Absolutely and completely out of his depth.....and always has been.

Apart from when we win and he plays well though yeah... Clearly he's getting exposed by better teams, but he's been absolutely fine against others.

I just can't believe we are just watching them pass the ball around!! It's like passing round statues!! What's happened to them getting stuck in!

3-5-2 second half, get albrighton off, embarrassing, all one foot and no quality, get vardy off, shockingly lazy, and a red card waiting to happen, now he's frustrated.

The state of things, damage limitation, and premier league ambitions readjustment, staying up is about it this year.

Might as well try schlupp as holding mid can't be any worse than amartey has been.  2 goals he just completely let the runner go. That half was junior Lewis level and that might be being harsh on junior lewis

game over after 2-0.

we are reverting to classic leicester, embarrassing is an understatement.

No point in vardy being there with the non existent service.

even if we dig in and end up losing 4-3, this game has been a complete waste of time.

forget champions, this is nothing but a bunch of chumps.

so fúcking angry and i know this is kneejerk but what a fúcking joke.

They are sh*t when playing fellani and Rooney, unfortunately for us Mourinho has found his team

We will beat the mediocre teams with ease, but teams that have spent half a billion we struggle against

It's one thing to struggle but it's completely ****ing indefensible to be 4-0 down at half time at any level regardless of the opposition.

I feel really sorry for Ron Zieler who has done nothing wrong but has been made to look an idiot by his colleagues. 8 goals in one and a half games.

Disgraceful.

Hopefully The Don has put a few horses heads in the lockers at half time.

Your analogy doesn't wash though when you've seen Watford and Feyenoird beat them inside a week. We could be playing Halifax, if you can't mark a 6ft plus player near your goal there something wrong.

I can't say a good word about anyone. Drinkwater is a yard off the pace of the game after mid-week. In fact all of the guys who played mid-week (Simpson, Morgan, Vardy) look dreadful. The system, as we could see from the Liverpool game, isn't appropriate right now against the stronger teams, at least not without replacing Kante. As much as I love Ranieri, there should be serious questions asked here about why Simpson has no competition at right back, Morgan/Huth have no serious competition at CB, Fuchs has no serious competition (judging from what I've seen of Chilwell) at LB, and it's hard to even scrape together a two-man central midfield. We've blown a huge amount of money on forwards who, in the case of Slimani, have the first touch of a traction engine (today at least) or are just plain unneeded.

The most steely-nerved, hard-working and fit side I've ever seen look gutless, lazy, unfit and as if they haven't had a training session since April. It's the worst I've seen them, at this level, since the Adams days. And for the third time this season. Ranieri looks totally forlorn, and to be honest I'm not sure he has the options he needs to switch things around effectively. This could go horribly, horribly wrong over the coming months.

1. When will CR get the defense practicing defending set pieces?

2. When will CR realise we can't play 4-4-2 against the bigger teams?

3. Why in gods name is Schlupp on the bench ahead of Musa after his shambolic performance in midweek?

At least we won't get relegated as there are a lot worse teams than us. But CR seriously needs to get a plan b ASAP. We can't go all season beating the shit teams and getting hammered against the top teams. I don't mind losing at old Trafford but to be 4-0 down at ht is a joke

Fairly clear we can't play this formation away from home against top 7 teams, OK against poorer teams, expectations now reduced, let's get to 40 points and ensure we stay up, should do but if we keep performing like this away from home it will have an impact on the home form at some point

Amartey and Slimani have been very poor. Then everyone else is playing at poorly except Drinkwater

Can't blame slimani Messi would look shite with that service. Albrighton squares to him early on instead of the keeper and it's 1-0

Amartey 0 out of 10 worse half I've seen anyone play in prem absolute shocker

Musa and Amartey look terrible signings on the evidence so far.

Have to agree unfortunately.

In all seriousness all of the summer signings leave little to be optimistic to currently really

Until the first goal all was rosey and we weren't overly gung-ho either, we concede a soft goal but then the crowd and Utd players wake up and our players go into panic mode trying to redress the score immediately leaving us wide open at the back. The give and go's are shockingly easy, Amartey just ball watching, not even getting close to the opponents. I won't have it that Mata's is a great goal, if your marker just jogs around letting you go unchallenged it's a gift. Why let him go, are we suddenly using a zonal system and ignoring the runners? The most crucial guy right now is Mendys physio but the whole team need to go back to getting a foot hold in a game and building on it, not panicking, shut the crowd up, kill the momentum and inch your way back into it.

Need to see a reaction at half time. Something to tell the fans they still care.

No idea what's happened at the back. But we need to get it sorted asap.

Only positive is. Last time we got spanked in the league we went on to a good game in the champions league.

however, play like we have today and I can't see that happening.

we are shocking. No desire to press the ball and all over the place. Armety is not a midfielder and we can't keep playing 442.

sort it out Claudio or we will be looking at relegation
