fuchsntf Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Any Porto in a storm..lets bring the foxes boat home and stay bouyant on the heavy seas of the Champions League. Wreck their dreams, sink all their hopes, shiver their timbers, repel boarders, cut them no slack, They might be confident upon the 7 seas, but we defend the cut, and the rolling Soar till we die, no croaking at frogs island...Captain Morgan prepared to splice the mainbrace.. Hang the doubters and pressgang deserters at the yard-arm. Now whip up a storm, and sail through the night. So with Hook and by crook.....1-0

MC Prussian Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I'd go with a narrow 2-1 win, but the second goal for us won't fall until very late into the game. Early goal on either side to open the scoreline - either we do and face a battling performance from Porto on the hunt for much-needed points or we'll have to play catch-up.

foxy boxing Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 2 - 1 win but we need to really boss the midfield and take our chances and be more defensively solid
purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Surprised by the confidence for this one. Porto could match Man Utd. I wish I felt more confident but our defense is so concerning. 1-2.
David Lowe Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I imagine this will be a fairly comfortable win for Porto - I would go 1-4. Much better side than Brugges.

If it's 1-4 then the whole team should be sacked. They drew 1-1 with Copenhagen at home ffs. We are Premier League Champions. I expect much better than Saturday.
Brooksy Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I think we'll come out gung ho and hammer them. 4-0 with Slimani and Shinzaki with a brace each
rn9013 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I think many of our fans are underestimating Porto. They're a decent side and I would absolutely take a point tonight. I fancy a 1-1.
Detroit Blues Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I think I heard Porto has only taken two points in 14 away in England. No reason we shouldn't feel confident going into this one. I think Slimani is the last man Porto will want to see out there tonight.
jayfox26 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I'd be happy with a draw. Not too sure why our fans are underestimating Porto so much, they are a very good team.
BrummieFOX Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Wouldn't take a draw before the game but wouldn't be displeased with it afterwards. We do have the ability to beat these but can't see it being easy.

Fox92 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 It's difficult because I don't watch European football, although I know Porto are currently 'underperforming' by their standards - they are a big club with a great history but haven't won the title for a bit. Surely the people saying we're going to get battered are just going with the same logic that they were a big club, I mean who here watches them consistently? We should be looking to win our home games, that's all I'm adding. Very excited to see Porto though.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Leicester 1 Porto 2, Porto to dominate possession and us to score a scrappy equaliser but ultimately pressure to tell
Chico1958 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Let's move on from the weekend. I'd settle for a good performance but lose I'd settle for a poor performance and a draw I'd be over the moon with any sort of win Let's show Porto why we are Champions of the toughest league in the world 2-1 Foxes
