Think you may be right. The sting started last year... hopefully if NP's been involved in any of the below, it was while he was with Derby and not with us... The Telegraph began investigating corruption in English football last year after receiving information that specific managers, officials and agents were taking or receiving cash payments to secure player transfers. Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how: The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a £5,000 cash “bung” Ten managers were named by players’ agents as taking bribes to fix player transfers Two well-known managers discussed becoming ambassadors for the same fictitious firm as Sam Allardyce Another high-profile manager admitted his players broke FA rules by betting on their own games but he failed to report it A senior figure at a Premier League club helped undercover reporters to formulate a plan to bribe managers

Could be Idiakez has been involved in dodgy transfers of young players and Pearson is guilty by association, seeing as he brought him to the club, or was mentioned by Idiakez whilst being filmed.
Guest Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 how much you wanna bet PETA is behind this. they never quite got over the romania incident.

Ozwin Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Bet you any money the owner just didn't like Pearson's line up for tonight and told him to change it. Pearson probably refused and they've suspended him for it.
AjcW Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Yahoo sports journo reporting bust up with players.
FireFox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Can we get Idiakez back to sort out our youth team?

As chances are he would have been with us. Or is it agent Pearson been found out. As he took the job to fvck them up.
Matt Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Nige for England might just make me love with the International team again #Nige4England
Samilktray Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I think any kind of respectable future career is out the window for him if he's been a naughty boy.

HankMarvin Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 nothing to do with Sam, fell out with players and staff Wealthy Morris appointed the former Leicester City chief in the summer but results and performances have been shocking. Pearson fell out with some players, telling them after the defeat by Blackburn that he would be staying but many of them would not. However after Morris took a couple of days to mull over the crisis Pearson got the call and was taken out of the HQ in dramatic style. Pearson’s blunt style has not gone down well with the dressing room and even some club staff felt the sharp end of his tongue. A club statement read: “Derby County can confirm that manager Nigel Pearson will not be carrying out his duties at tonight’s game at the request of the club.

Vulpecula Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 With the proviso that he hasn't done anything really stupid, it's a shame for him. He's too good a manager to have this on his c.v. Without him, we could have been like Sheffield United, languishing for many years in the third tier.
fazzyfox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Was his son found being filmed with club mascot Rammy the Ram (the real ram, not a bloke in costume, or if it was a bloke in costume they both got a shock)
desertfox2 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3810149/Derby-suspend-Nigel-Pearson-hours-Championship-clash-Cardiff.html Didn't last long. Kind of gutted for him after all he did here that things are not working out for him but on the other hand couldnt have stomached him getting Derby back to the prem.... think they have made a mistake but their loss as he always seems to take time to get going.
