Could you imagine walking in to work and punching your boss?

For christ's sake take the managerial talent you clearly have, and learn to behave like an adult.

Quite easily.

I call my boss a cvnt all the time.  He's pretty cool like that.

Think I've posted this before...the Pearson/Walsh/Shakespeare thing is akin to Clough/Taylor.

Pearson likes to exercise authority  (probably why he let that big striker go...clash of personalities)....it's likely that Walsh and Shaky sided with him at Leicester...they became a formidable management TEAM.

Without them two...he probably can't Flex his muscles at Direby like he did at City...it looks like he's lost the dressing room there to some extent. Like Clough at dirty Leeds.

Just a thought...to manage the only way he knows how to (it's my way or the highway) Nige needs back up. He had that at City. Does he have it at the sheep shaggers?

Too many ostriches in the gantry, apparently. Looks like a faded force in the managerial World with his run of very poor results since his return. His win ratio wasn't that great anyway, in spite of having two lower division runaway seasons with Leicester City. Bye bye Nigel, we had some good times together. Memories are priceless.

Could you imagine believing internet rumours and then lecturing someone on how to behave on the basis of them.

Oh, you could.

Say what you like but Mel Morris is an arrogant opinionated tw@t and our Nige will never put up with someone like that telling him what to do ...    Perfect recipe for Direby dropping another division.   Looove ittt !!!!!

A bad trait in Morris and a good trait in Pearson?

Don't think anybody could play the good cop role better than Powell honestly

I'm not defending Pearson's hot headed nature or his tendency to get involved in ridiculous things but one thing people seem to forget is that, as a manager, he should have his own way.

If he doesn't like a player and wants to sack him off the board should back him. And they shouldn't have appointed him if they're going to turn around 10 games in and start having a go at his methods.

I assume the owner did have some opinions on the way Nigel was doing things and really, that's not on. If you appoint a manager you let him manage. Trust him or don't appoint him. These owners know fvck all about football and I imagine Pearson gets fed up of them sticking their ore in.

I rarely have dreams but last night I had a dream and it was only the man himself making an appearance.

Just remember running towrds him while he was walking away shouting Pearson, Pearson to no reply soon as I shouted Nigel he turned around, then I've shook his hand and said I've never got to say thank you for what you did at Leicester, you are legend. Basically giving him loads of praise he smirked and that was that.

weird as **** lol

Depends what you're opinion is about... If he's trying to tell people how to do their job when not qualified, then it's bad.

While I feel sorry for him he is his own worst enemy. I've said it before he's is a very good Club Manager but he lacks the tactical awareness of a top manager. like CR for instance.

As Col has said and from what we know,  Walsh and Shaky took care of most of the Coaching. Also wasn't it rumoured that Cambiaso played a big part in the change of tactics leading to the turn around. NP is a bit black and white and life isn't like that. some people respond to an arm around and others a lashing. As a Manager you have to learn which type you're dealing with.

I'd also be very surprised if Powell took over as I think he's a loyal person. As for Derby as a Club they look to be only going one way. Probably appoint Mc Claren again.

Perhaps Pearson would do alright with England, not that it would happen.

Reduce the egoness of quite a few of the players, and he's known for (before Derby) taking under-achieving sides to where they belong.

There is no perhaps about it.

Would he let the FA pick the team? No. Therefore they wouldn't go near him.

Not too fussed one way or the other tbh if it drops the mighty Rams down into the sticky brown stuff ...   :)
