stripeyfox Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 Anyone brought this yet? I got the sample on Kindle and decided to buy (mainly due to having an amazon gift voucher). Not learned a whole lot yet that I didn't already know - he's a massive Owls fan and a bit of a bellend.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 The only book I've probably read in the last 10 years is The Unbelievables, but this arrived yesterday and I'm already on page 180. There's not a huge amount we didn't already know or that hasn't been publicised recently (Skittle vodka, etc.), but I find it interesting to get an insight into the first season here and what it was like in the players camp with Pearson, etc.
Beliall Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 Selling this in my local sainsburys in Newhaven. Almost bought it
Countryfox Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 If anyone who knows me is reading this and wants to know what to get me for Christmas ...

lgfualol Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 I hope it is all written in text speech. It's how I imagine Vardy writes. "we woz da champs!!"

Tbf he owes Pearson a hell of a lot. Not only taking a chance on him at none league but sticking with him and turning his head when Vardy thought about quitting.

stripeyfox Posted 7 October 2016 Author Posted 7 October 2016 Just now, MrSpaM said: What's he said about cambiasso??? That he acted like he was one of the coaches, that he was repotedly earning 20K per week more than the "salary cap" and that formations were altered to accomodate EC. EC used to call team meetings, undermined Morgan as skipper etc

daddylonglegs Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 Bloody esteban saving our season like that who does he think he is
stripeyfox Posted 7 October 2016 Author Posted 7 October 2016 Vardy says that none of them were bothered when Cambiasso left and if he was so much of an influential player "he'd have won the players player award"
