Izzy Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Good point away from home against a tough, physical team. Top of the group, unbeaten, Russia here we come...

This can't continue, same mistakes campaign after campaign. Utterly pointless playing shit teams in qualifying to lose to the first team who is slightly average in a tournament. If we have to fail to qualify for a tournament or three to get it right **** it. Pathetic. Exactly. Maybe they will learn from an ultimate failure. Stop calling up people because of the team they for (more so if they dont ****ing start) Call up players based on whether they can help play a certain system and have the right mentality Hire foreign coaches Sack off Rooney Win

easilee Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Sod this I'm pissed off. I'm gonna go and troll some Premier league teams fansites.

Eventually we'll lose so many they'll have no choice but to change the rosta For years and years we are getting shown up, it is embarrassing... the FA are refusing to put a proper plan and structure in place and can't admit that we are rubbish
Nick Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 I'm sure there's an upside as the poster above has suggested, but in all honesty we have some good players - nobody I'd describe recently as even knocking on the door of world class but the way we play in the final third is dross.
Dan Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Absolutely comical performance from England. Defensively embarrassing, completely bailed out by Hart. Going forward, the usual lack of imagination and cohesion. Anyone who calls that a good point is deluding themselves. We were appalling.

In the changing room before a match a few years and some lad next to me just blerts out "I can't stop talking, it's crazy this shit" no idea what he had been on the night before but he was unplayable .
Tielemans63 Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Just by the by, if Daniel Sturridge wasn't such a greedy **** and had any inclination to play for the team then we might have snook a goal but the guy never looks up, he just goes for glory.

The players are reasonably good as individuals but there was no understanding tonight. Slovenia looked far better with less resources because they know what they are doing. Nothing will change if we go complete crap, because we didn't qualify for Euro 2008 and things have just got worse!
lgfualol Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 I just saw this comment "If I went from being coached by Klopp, Guardiola and Poch to Gareth Southgate I would be unmotivated too" So correct.
trabuch Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Can you imagine how embarrassed we would all be on here if Drinkwater was playing instead of Henderson and performed like that? (Hypothetical question obviously!)
Larry_LCFC Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Sturridge shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up. No hunger or desire. Absolute Bollocks.
tom27111 Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 I won't watch another England game again. Especially while the FA continue the same cycle of abject failure. There were players on that pitch who shouldn't even be near the squad. Was Henderson aware that we were in red tonight? Don't watch on TV, don't go to the games, don't buy the shirts. Hit them where it hurts, in their pockets. Only then will anything change.
Corky Posted 11 October 2016 Posted 11 October 2016 Best moment for me was Tyldesley all but saying the Slovenian keeper's save around 80 minutes was Banks v Pele and then Hoddle questioned why he didn't palm it over the bar
