I'm sorry but he's clueless. This season is fast becoming a shambles....forget last season all together, THIS season we are pathetic away from home. Formation change is needed, and don't give me that personel can't adapt bullshit...they're professional footballers, they should be able to.

Not. Single effort on target......****ing pathetic.

Formation change is a must, it can't get much worse than it is now away from home... we are conceding bucket loads and creating f all

No excuses for the performances this season but some of you are actually insane.

I'm not even going to pursue the argument.

Blimey, when Kitch is the voice of reason on a thread.....

Some of these posts have to be satire, surely. I mean we've been pathetic away from home this season but really? People are "morons" who "can't think outside the box" because they don't want the only manager who has ever taken us to a league title win to be replaced with Nigel Pearson?

I wasn't CR biggest fan until last season but seriously some people need to chill out. The performances worry me but anyone who thinks CR should be sacked needs to have a word. Chelsea are a better team than us- simple as that

we got a huge fee to play some shite games around the world. And not slagging our owners but they want the coverage. Northampton town don't cut it now.

I'm not necessarily talking about the international cup but why we didn't look at learning some alternative systems and target players required to suit. Apart from Slimani I see no plan to our summer transfers

We lost 12 away games in our first season back, not only Chelsea and Man U but Palace, Swansea, QPR, Newcastle, Spurs. 7 away games in a row before Xmas.

And how many were by three goals or more? I said bad performances, not bad results.

Thats the difference right now regardless of opposition.

Does it matter? Where did we finish that season compared to last? That's a far more important difference.

Bar champions league this season is a right off pretty much.

Surely we must have some serious cash in the bank and there is no point rinsing it in January.

In the summer i expect a big clear out.

Really you are having a Laugh. After winning the league other clubs wanted 3 players and one left. Most have now had a huge pay rise and not performing. Drinky will get some bids the rest right now you can forget. Most atm dont deserve what they got last season let alone the contracts we have given them.

Big Wes is defending like the championship player we bought not like a champion. So what clubs are going to pay to clear out our crap lol

One Nigel Pearson.

You see, the thing is you'll never know if I'm serious or not because of my picture lol

Reading through this thread it seems that some fans actually thought we would be challenging for the title again, the sooner you accept last season was a "one off" the better. We simply do not have the resources of the "big 6".

four points worse off than the same fixtures last season, not desperate yet. more worrying than formations and tinkering or even loss of kante is the seeming loss of fight and spirit.

Poor performance in the transfer window has led to this. Players like Schlupp should have been sold. We needed at least one quality centre back, instead we are left with two aging centre backs one of which (Morgan) is below average.

We won the league and instead of pushing on we rewarded players with long contracts. Not needed. We needed to improve. Manchester United improved year after year regardless of whether they won the league or not. We should not be paying players £100,000 a week (reported) either.

Yet again today was too easy. We'll get battered at Spurs in two weeks.

A brilliant manager who last season gave us something we had no right to ever expect.

its not working right so far this year and he needs to look at formations that strengthen our midfield - and we clearly need to spend in the defence/midfield in the transfer window.

However he's EARNED a huge slice of time to get this right - as I'm sure he will. Anyone even THINKING about getting rid of him is a fvcking plastic. Sorry, but you are.

Sack the manager. Of course, that's the only answer after away games to Liverpool, Man Ure and Chelsea. Teams we should be thrashing on a regular basis. What a ridiculous thread.

There has been no effort in any of the games. Thats the point.

We're supposed to be Champions of England.

We needed a RB and 2 CB to push our back line we got nothing. Not so much a game plan as a fvck up. We could score goals still but can't defend.

It is the performances, they are a disgrace the errors we are making weren't there last season and were even far less the season prior. We look a joke, no shame in losing to Liverpool, Man U Chelsea especially away but when you are getting hammered that is a major problem .

The point I was making was even when we were useless in getting results (hence me going back to that season) , the performances were still largely there and we showed up well against the big teams.

We did the same last season too.

This season the effort from the players in these away games has been lifeless and mistake ridden.

Nope a lot are missing the point - people aren't expecting results against the top six but we expect performances full of effort and hard work.

We're not supposed to be Champions of England. We are Champions of England. Fair few on here seem to be forgetting that.

If we want to become a total laughing stock, that would be the way to do it, unceremoniously sack the manager who won the league 8 games into the season.

I'm not going to argue against the evidence regarding the last 3 away games, that would be stupidity, but sack Ranieri 8 games into the season? That's what's ridiculous. If we are in the bottom 4 with 12 games left I could possibly understand those calls though I still might not agree with them.

Losing 2-0 doesn't get you anymore points than 3-0. Chelsea scored their last while we were chasing the game, under Pearson we'd have given up 2-0 and just tried to stop it being embarrassing.

Let's forget all the usual hullabaloo of sacking the manager and replacing him with some saviour who doesn't work out, then resorting to a dinosaur of the game before realising it is time for the second coming. Just bring him back now! There is only one Peter Taylor.

I for one didn't even consider it, especially with the extra games.

What is concerning is the way we set up, today it looked like we were beat as soon as the first goal went in.

The fight and energy of last season appears a distant memory, the lack of ideas in defending, and attacking, the lack of confidence, mixed in with being ridged with the formation, and poor performances are concerning.

To go to Chelsea, and play a weakened side, with schlupp who has hardly played, Simpson dropped, show arrogance, or showing no interest in the league, either way we got what we deserved, a shocking performance, followed by a sound beating.

No interest in a manager change, but a change from what we are seeing, and a change from playing players who don't deserve to be there, play in form players, wether tired or not, before the all lose confidence

I may be wrong but i think you have took the comment out of context. We are champions but look nothing like champions. We are cannon fodder at the minute.
