Buce Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 He still has a lot of credit in the bank from last season, but how much more of this crap are we supposed to take? If I was Vichai, I'd be issuing a verbal warning.
wignalll2007 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 A few games ago I would have said your mental but after watching today's game I agree, this can't go on! Claudio seems clueless.
noodles Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 would be idiotic, we cant expect the season to be like last. loyalty and calmness needed
Walkerfox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I agree, the owners need to have a meeting. They need to ask why he thinks we're underperforming, and what he is going to do about it. If he does nothing, then he goes.

Larry_LCFC Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Needs to stop being so stubborn and change the system. Play gray, ditch schlupp and stop bringing Andy bloody king on when we are chasing the game!

Danno Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I wouldn't be happy at all if I was top. Could've shown so much more ambition in signing players in the summer but not sure how much of that is his fault. No idea why he's still sticking with 4-4-2 it's been clear for months that it's not working.
Ted Maul Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I must admit, I'll begin to worry if he plays the same system at Spurs. It was obvious after the Liverpool game that we needed a change in shape for these sort of games, without even taking the United debacle into consideration.

Danizen Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 The owners have spent £30m in the summer and will double that in January. Plus they've committed an extra £100m+ in wages over the next few years. They're determined for us to grow as a club so I doubt they have an unwavering loyalty to Ranieri. They can't afford to.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Effects of Pearson's legacy starting to fade, Ranieri's results starting to fade. I'll always be grateful to Claudio but would be happier to see us get NP back in.
Barky Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Claudio isn't a misbehaving schoolboy so I can't see how a warning would achieve anything. The owners are probably complicit in the plan to prioritise the champions league (rightly so in my opinion) so when the fixture list gave us a group of the hardest possible games in our pre-CL ties they must have realised defeats were likely. The sloppiness of the goals we're conceding is disappointing but a man like claudio doesnt need a warning from the owners to let him know he needs to work on the problems.
TheMightySystem Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 King playing LW instead of Gray has propper pissed me off. Credit for changing the formation in the second half as we looked better, but to then change it back to what failed in the first half is diabolical.

"He goes" We're top of our Champions League group and clear of the bottom three you lunatic. Have you seen our run of fixtures in November? Calm yourself down.
lgfualol Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I'd issue a warning with the players as well. Clearly can't be arsed now we've given them big contracts for the next few years. What motivation is there? They've won the league. Our best player so far has been Drinkwater, who clearly can move somewhere better. Can Vardy, Morgan, Albrighton or King? No chance. As for people wanting Pearson back, no thanks. The guy is a psycho and Championship level at best.
AyewJoking Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 hmmm, we may be accused of having short memories but you are only as good as your last game and for a while now (disregarding the champions league) we havent been worth watching. its cruel but thats the business that makes him so much money.
TMELcfc Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Sack him and bring in ... Erm... Errr... Hmmm... Nope, can't think of anyone

We are not a good team at the moment and something has to change. He needs to know that he, just like the players, must improve.
yorkie1999 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Luckiest man in football. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time and be the manager of a team that carried momentum and belief on from the previous season, and be manager at a time when all the big clubs were struggling. It's so obvious even to a blind man.
Fox42 Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 It seems to me that he's not giving that much respect towards the Premier League. Focussing on the Champions League as an objective is one thing, but putting all eggs in one basket is another considering the Premier League is the basis of our football season.
