motm had to be kasper for me which doesn't exactly tell the full story of the game, normally when you give motm to a goalkeeper it normally means we were constantly dominated by opposition and hit with chance after chance, but to be fair it was like that Copenhagen were good but never really dominated the game, they a few decent chances in which Kasper pulled off some heroic saves which earned him the motm. For me we we're outstanding and probably deserved another goal, today I felt was our best performance this season. Yeah we hammered Club Brugge but lets face it they were terrible on the night. Copenhagen were different class compared to what we've had to face so far, the best team I think we faced and I think we dealt with them well.

 

on the ratings, most of the squad got an 8 from me... Mahrez, Drinkwater, King (though no way motm, think Matt Elliot got that wrong), Morgan, Simpson. The rest following that got a seven. Lowest was 6 which went to subs who to be fair didn't really have lot to do when they came on.

Kasper 8 He's having a great season MOTM 

 

Simpson 8 Pick of our back 4 

Huth 7 Steady

Morgan 7 Seemed to take a knock early on which hampered him slightly but played well

Fuchs 6 Did ok

*We still look so vulnerable from corners*

 

Mahrez 7 Took his goal exceptionally well and showed some lovely skill 

King 6 Some important interceptions and got forward well

Drinkwater 8 See above but on the ball more

Albrighton 6 Offensively not great but defended well and worked hard 

 

Slimani 6 Looked a bit clumsy at times but did well for the goal. Too many long balls at him

Vardy 6 Better than recently but so desperately needs a goal

Think he means the one that Slimani scored but the goal was wrongly disallowed.

Other than opening 20 and last 10 perhaps, Copenhagen were gash tbh. We started poorly and finished with a struggle but got a deserved win thanks to Kasper. Opening 25 second half was some of our best stuff this season though not getting carried away. Referee was great. Could be a settled team for a few games but for me Gray instead of Albrighton

Surprised so many rating Albrighton so low.. he ran his socks off last night defending all over the pitch and getting forward well. Lacked a bit of quality at times but the goal aside I don't think Mahrez was any better.

Mahrez looked quality last night, he did so many flicks, touches and perfectly weighted passes to teammates which caused problems. albrighton gave the ball away so many times and think only good cross was the offside goal, you can tell he's low on confidence at the mo

2 the 1 for offside goal that was the only good thing in the game every other pass was over hit and 2 no1

Interesting to read this, I saw the game quite differently to lots of people. Albrighton was always involved and bar a couple of shoddy left foot crosses played really well. Mahrez was selfish too often, passed badly a lot but his 4 or 5 good touches were very good. Vardy should be dropped if he keeps shooting when the better pass is on-was really impressed with his running and work rate, but if he and Riyad had passed a bit better we'd have strolled that game. Simpson and Schmeichel were excellent...
