Jesus. How is it Zieler's fault Morgan and Huth are passed it? Our back 4 have been shit with Schmeichel. It's laughable our GOALKEEPER is being blamed for our players not winning headers, closing down, making mistakes and tackling. They're called defenders for a reason.

Cant believe people are calling for Hamer. This is the Hamer that went on loan to the Championship last season and got sent back because he was letting in 4 a game.

All you do is whinge these days. Used to like reading your posts but ffs...

I think I'm right that we've picked up a single, solitary point away from home this season?

It's more than a confidence issue. That's relegation form.

Col it's just a blip, let's not get carried away. We've played 6 games away from home, 4 of which were against teams which currently occupy top 6 places. There's still 13 away games to play. If after 12 away games things haven't improved I'll happily agree with your point of view, but the team look petrified on the road.

So far we've failed to recover from the defeat against Hull on the opening day. It had a two fold effect; it bought us down to earth and exposed us to vulnerability again, and also made all of our opponents irrespective of ability realise that we are beatable. That opening day result has snowballed and been exacerbated by some very tricky fixtures on our travels. Consequently the team look beaten before they step out on to the pitch. However, it's only a matter of time before we eventually pick up a win. I'm certain that as soon as the first win comes on the road performances will improve drastically.

I think we need to buy 2 new (starting) centre halves in January.

3 months ago this would have seemed laughable and 6 months ago treacherous but both Huth and Morgan have been pathetic this season.

People talk about us not being able to play 4-4-2 without Kante but I think that the biggest problem in the team is Vardy's reduced mobility. This has shown up Huth and Morgan as cloggers when we have the bal as Vardy is no longer turning clips down the line into measured passes. In turn this has forced Drinkwater to drop deeper to pick up the ball and on several occasions has left Amartey or King totally alone in central midfield. We HAVE to buy a defender who can pass or we're going to have to change formation.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri told BBC Sport: "I said to my players 'well done' as they tried to do everything. At the beginning we were losing 2-0, but we got back in the match.

"Of course Watford defended very well. We tried to do our best, the second half was intense but we did not created good chances.

"Their two goals made the match. Our performance was good, the spirit was good and I am positive. When you play with this spirit, I'm positive."

I think 6 games is enough to conclude we've got a serious problem. That's a third of a season away from home.

Its not like the games at Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool were tight games we were unfortunate to lose; so far this season we've been totally humiliated 3 times, lost very winnable games twice without a particularly serious fight and got a surprising point.

Can't see it with this squad. We will at home, but I've always said that.

Away from home, we aren't good enough IMO. January and the hope of better signings can't come quickly enough. Not only in central midfield where, let's face it, we are crap really. Or at best, very average, but central defence too.

My opinion is that you can mess about with formations all you want. And they do help, or hinder. But it's players that win football matches. If we'd have signed the lad from Burnley and especially, Silva, we'd be looking much better anyway.

Morgan and Huth do concern me now.

They seem a shadow of themselves from last season.

Hence agree with ttfn's stance on needing to sign 2 new (and younger but experienced) CB's as well as a strong CM who is a leader. RB is fine for the reminder of the season at least.

Again we didn't turn up.  Why I don't know.  To concede at any  level within 46 seconds is poor but at premier league level it's suicidal.  Watford were poor we were poorer.  Too many players didn't look up for it Vardy isolated up front to big a gap between midfield and attack.  We have been Sussed out.  Put two men on Mahrez, outnumber us in midfield and we just haven't got a clue.

So many times we just lump it up in the air to two Watford centre halves who gobbled it up all day.  Christ, we made Caboul look like Bobby Moore.  Bloody Caboul for gawds sake.

we get a throw in in their half we have no runners, no movement hence we throw it down the line straight onto their heads we are under pressure again.  I really don't know what the answer is, I don't think Ranieri does either, but no way am I calling for a change their.

Too many of our players just not performing.  Amartey, Albrighton, Morgan, Huth, Vardy, all culpable.  We huff and puff but no real effect.  How many saves did Gomes make?  Penalty aside we hardly had any shots let alone on target.

Michael Owen said, "win it one year go down the next". Unfortunately we are proving that idiot right and we have only ourselves to blame.

Believe me, we are in a relegation fight this season.

Morgan and Huth look like Championship players. Poor and hoof ball all the time from them.

Defo also a lot of communication problems with them and Zieler

Zieler is never going to get a clean sheet.

Hamer is not a bad keeper.  He kept Kasper out of the team for months 2 seasons ago.

If we ship goals to Brugge and Boro as I expect then I won't be the only one saying this.

Whatever your view on sacking Ranieri is, I do know one thing.

To have slumped from being utterly brilliant to this, is quite embarrassing.

If Claudio's game is to ensure European qualification and THEN to focus on the league, it's a risky one.

Well that's the thing though ain't it, we have had 1 good half in the 4 cl games, we are only were we are because the other teams have been complete shit,

Yes, we are in dire need of some new players. Players, who have the technical skills to control the ball, to play accurate passes, which actually reach the intended target, and who have the ability to slow down/or speed up a game, when necessary. Right now, after the loss of Kante, we have nobody, who  fits that job description.

But I doubt, that we will get the players we really need, because someone like Adrien Silva certainly will not join a team, that is in or near the relegation zone. No first-class player, who is in his right mind, will join a team, that seems to be falling apart. In the end, we will spend again absurd amounts of money for average players. We had our window of opportunity in the summer. We didn't use it wisely.

Almost 40m for Silva is a hefty price, but if the club had accepted the offers for Schlupp and Ulloa, it should have been possible to trigger Silva's release clause. I think, it would have been a good investment. In January, I fear, it could be too late.

This is a brilliant observation and in my opinion is totally right.

Having players who can play from the back would allow the whole team to play higher up the pitch and be progressive. People say we dont create anything, were hardly likely to when one of our most creative players is often on the ball 5 yards in front of the two centrebacks.

That then allows opponents to swamp all the passing lanes on, and what happens then? ball over the top to nowhere.

Im not saying we need Gerard Pique, but someone who can defend and bring the ball forward would change the dynamic of the whole team.

I think/hope, that a fit Mendy could do the job. He did it succesfully for OGC Nice. Therefore Ranieri had him at the top of his

shopping list. But I fear, that like Kante last season, Mendy also will need at least 2 months to adapt to the higher pace and intensity

of the Premier League.

I honestly think winning the Premier League was so unexpected and so momentus, people dont acknowledge it actually happened, and therefore this season is the one they compare to the great escape season.

For most, their mind cannot recall or comprehend what happened last season.

Zieler wasn't the reason we lost today.  He made a brilliant save in the second half to stop it being 3 1.  Look more at Morgan and Huth plus Drinkwater again who were all poor.

Wasyl is probably the best centre half with the ball at his feet we have, what that says for Wes and Huth I don't know. I'll be amazed if we don't go back in with a big bid for Keane in January, I'll also be surprised if we actually land him.

Our central midfield options are being chastised and with Mendy injured we are a little light, but it's not easy for anybody when the game is constantly bypassing them.
