Claudio is 1st. If the guy loves Pearson so much listen to his delusions of grandeur speech. Ranieri has a rebuilding job to do that's without doubt but with Mendy out we haven't had a chance to see if he could or could not be the missing link. Slimani was a good buy. We perhaps should have pushed a bit more for Michael Keane in the summer but s@@t happens. If we had signed Keane and dropped Huth the first game we would have lost people would have been calling for the Dons head. We were incredibly lucky last year with lack of injuries and suspensions and that luck was always going to run out sooner or later. We have Kasper out Drinkwater suspended lost a world class player in the summer and his replacement got injured. If Cambiasso had been crocked during the relegation battle we would have gone down. If anyone has earned the right to sort it out it is Ranieri. Not defending the last few games in the prem as it has been woeful but even playing poorly we are 13th in the league. We will finish top 10 and have had a good run in Europe so far. That would not be a bad return for us.

Did he have a mirror with him on the touchline? Did he go out of his way to look good for press conferences? No. Your perception is wrong. He was not excessively obsessed with himself, that's a ridiculous suggestion and just plainly untrue.
