When a player lunges in to a tackle, and the opposing player goes down like he's injured, obviously it changes the referees analysis of a situation, is that not obvious? Our players have dived before aswell you know.... when the challenge is as hard as vardys looked, it makes a difference if the player goes down "injured"

" He's not been caught in a lunge because there was no bloody contact.
