I can't make it unless it's a team for farmer country out East or London.

I basically want as 'easy' as possible - Wigan home. They have bigger problems to worry about and we should see them off

We'll need to win in the 5th round as well then. lol

Brentford or Rochdale away.

The inevitable Hull away doesn't fill me with any joy or excitement.

got a bit ahead of myself there!

A lower league team at home, Rochdale, Sutton, Wimbledon, Derby or Lincoln.

£10 adults, kids for a £1. Full house, easier chance of progressing to the next round.

Cup win > a decent away.

Just want to get rid of them ghosts once and for all.

How about us looking for an emergency trialist by Ceefax?

I take it you don't want to face them at all? lol

Not unless it's at home and you can guarantee a 6-0 drubbing.

For selfish reasons I'd prefer an away tie at a new ground I've not had the chance to do. Brentford still in?

Brentford still in, so are Oxford, Accrington, Plymouth, Cambridge (playing today at home against Leeds), Rochdale, Lincoln (replay), Fleetwood (replay), Sutton United/AFC Wimbledon, Wigan and Wycombe.

Peterborough are highly likely to lose away at Chelsea today.

Nice home draw against a lower league side would do for me with the likes of Utd,City, Arsenal etc drawing each other its about time we had a decent FA Cup run.

From that list then.

Accrington

Brentford

Cambridge

Rochdale

Lincoln although after that abandoned friendly. Could be lively and small allocation.

Fleetwood

And Sutton or afc.

Any away will do. We never seem to get those sort of ties tho.

Any of them other than Lincoln for me. Was sitting in the stands for a friendly when's Cambiasso announced he was leaving and I don't fancy revisiting such a traumatic evening.

Wigan away would be great. We'd get that 5k away end we would've had in the Championship if not for some hilariously bad luck in the fixtures.

Seriously if we draw Tottenham away they should put the balls back in the bag and re-do the ****ing thing.

Any away game with a big allocation would be great. Something simialr to Forest (a) in 2012 when we took 8k.

I'd like us to draw a Championship or League One / Two club and travel to a real, traditional English ground. Although they're knocked out, I was always quite fond of Preston's Deepdale stadium. That would've been good.

Getting someone like Barnsley, Huddersfield or Blackburn would bring back memories of those Championship away days.

Rochdale, Huddersfield, Barnsley away as a personal preference as they're easy for me to get to. Failing that, Leeds Away if they get through because I've never actually sat in the away end at Elland Road despite 20+ trips.

Derby anywhere would be nice. Sutton at home would be a good TV game.

Liverpool wouldn't be a bad draw if they're going to play the U21s again. Klopp disrespected the competition last year as well. They were in the same scenario with the league cup too. They have a League Cup semi 2nd leg the midweek before and Chelsea midweek after the 4th round tie.

Or Plymouth on the same ball. Only a few balls to be avoided out of the 31 options.

Although In the last 4 rounds we have been involved in the FA Cup we have drawn a premiership team away (Spurs and then Aston Villa in 2015, Spurs again in 2016 and Everton in 2017); a home tie is, in theory, as likely as an away tie.

Given who's currently left in the FA Cup this time and assuming that the higher division team will win the replays there will be:

  • 12 premier teams
  • 13 championship teams
  • 4 div 1 teams
  • 2 div 2 teams

in this years's FA Cup 4th round.

So roughly a 2 in 5 chance of drawing another premiership team, a 2 in 5 chance of a championship team and a 1 in 5 chance of drawing either a div 1 or division 2 team.

Take your pick.
