bigDfox33 Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 I was wondering if the louder crowds would spur the foxes on a bit more, I know the king power is already a good atmosphere but I can't help but think of ways to help get a bit more noise out of the 32,000 fans! The clappers must help but they deteriate quickly and end up ripped, maybe some plastic ones or something a bit more sustantial'? Or maybe we could shout louder??? Is there any chants threads on here? Im a bit behind with some of the new ones
lcfcben76 Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Plastic clappers? Jesus Christ, no thanks the current ones are bad enough

stevelcfc Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Shout louder... shit, you know what, I think you've got it!!!
Voll Blau Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 If you want to sing, sing. The clapper myth has been well and truly exposed this season.
adejo92 Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 We have already tried to boost the atmosphere by giving out clappers which create an almost subdued atmosphere with people gently tapping them against their hand because they feel they need to. I think the atmosphere has reached its peak unless they allow us flares, a brass band and a free line of cocaine upon collection of a ticket.
Guest Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Print lyrics to all of the songs and hand them out as hymm books before the game. When I first went to games it took me ages to figure out what you lot were singing.
sylofox Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Snipers on the roof taking out them that don't sing?
LCFC FOX Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 The KP has a shite atmosphere. All you can here is clap clap clap on the TV, barely hearing the actual chant
FraserSorensen Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Have a Barocca - it's you, but on a good day.
foxy boxing Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 If you want to generate more noise then just do it. clap your hands or use the clappers and shout and sing at the top of your voice, it really is that simple!
Guest Lako42 Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Get more than one small pocket of people to actually sing? But then again, you obviously weren't at Goodison Park on Saturday, they make us seem like Boca Juniors.
crazyleicester Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 The atmosphere is a lot better now than it was a few years ago. I think it isnt bad for this day and age. Fans of English teams seemed to have changed over the years and its evident that so many home team fans have turned there stadium into libraries. When I watch the TV and listen to the likes of Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd and even Liverpool you get a sense of perspective and say we are quite load compared to them. Get some standing areas back and hopefully the sound will increase in most stadiums.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 Give us a shit ref every week - the sound of outrage will be deafening!
Vestan Pance Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 As far as stadium design goes the more a structure reflects the sound forwards and down then the louder the crowd noise will become for 2 reasons, firstly people are more inclined to join in if the noise is already loud and secondly the sound is being directed in the right direction. Hard panelled reflective surfaces at 45 degrees to the roof would work well, pretty much where you see those support struts inside the kp, also solid reflective surfaces at the back of the stands. By the same process you could dampen the sound from the away corner by using non reflective surfaces, they would soon give up with no natural reverberation. The other option is lots more free beer.

I honestly have no idea what being sung in SK1 and I'm only in SK2, because they mostly sound mumbled and robotic, with each word sounding almost the same. Unless you're going to every away game, sat right next to someone singing or actively seek someone out to ask them, the casual fan has no idea and find it impossible to join in.
Danizen Posted 9 January 2017 Posted 9 January 2017 The best thing we could do to increase the volume is win the league again.

Yeh, took me ages to workout Ulloa was 'and he's number 23' and not 'and he's only 23' at first I thought he looks old for a 23 year old
