Guest LCFC_World Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 At the start of last season if someone had said to you "will you take winning the league this season and relegation next season" what would you have said? Just abit of fun in this bad situation
Stadt Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Yeah of course we would, but that doesn't excuse how shit we are now
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 can we make it next year instead ? then it's a yes from me
Wilson_6 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Hard question to answer. I mean winning the prem is like a dream only 6 sides to ever win it. Butttttt if your not in the prem you sort of dont exist in world football so i really dont know how to answer.
FuchingKante Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Of course, anyone who says no is full of shite. Repeating what the bloke above said, it doesn't excuse the gutless displays we are seeing at the moment.
Soar Fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Yes. It's just a shame that we have missed the best opportunity the club has ever had to establish ourselves as a genuine top 8 premier league club.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Yes... but it is depressing to see that we kept the team pretty much together and they are now producing some of the worst football I have seen in quite a few years
China Black Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Embarrasing to be Champions one season, then relegated the next.

Webbo Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 If you promised me 10 seasons in the PL instead of winning it and going down I'd take winning it every time.
Livid Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 IF we do go down it will forever taint for me the memories of last season. I still wouldn't swap it though.
Guest Manini Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 That's all it should be, just one of those hypotheticals. Its testiment to how poorly the club was ran way back in the summer, when we had an opportunity to cement ourselves as a real established top 8 or top 6 club. We had money, we had the champions league we were the champions of England for Christ sake, but the powers that be were too busy whoring us around the world to play in some footballing freak show pre season tourney. Its not not anger it's just disappointment. Disappointment that we ****ed it up this badly.
Mike Oxlong Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 All day long but the players are tarnishing their legacy.

lcfcben76 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Obviously but this is embarrasing at the moment

I don't believe that opportunity was ever really there, although I understand why people fell for the idea. Last season was a beautiful freak but we still remained a less attractive (long term) proposition than a good number of clubs for a variety of reasons. The shame for me is that our players appear to be absolute ***** and have badly let down an experienced manager with an excellent career record who has done nothing but conduct himself with dignity and who will probably have to lose his job. They'll always be heroes for last season but **** me are they having a bloody good go at makimg me dislike them.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Okay another question ... does anyone feel it was Pearsons team that won the league and Ranieri had nothing to do with it?

Charl91 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 What about if we had the opportunity to win the Premier League, and then not get relegated? That sounds better imo.
