We have spent big money too which will have its repercussions if we go down. If you can back what your watching im shocked - I love CR for everything from last season but he is at fault for where we are now.

The manager has lost the players and send us out game after game without any sort of noticeable game plan.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Claudio being interviewed now...'when we lose the first goal, we go down..and I don't understand why' To be honest, mate, if you don't, who on earth does. Gotta go.

And be I don't want to be part of a soulless business The trouble is do you want to be a soulful business or a successful one . all the top teams are run on a successful business platform. if we want to join them it sometimes entails making difficult decisions. you have to detach yourself from the emotional aspects and stay with the pack otherwise we will be swept aside . the time to make one of those difficult decisions was several weeks ago , but I think sentimentality got in the way . its going to be a struggle now ,but it's hopefully still not to late . A resignation would be preferable and more honorable, But may need a push .

Unless we make a change at the back and bring Amartey in who at least we know can play a bit I dont think those 4 can keep us up. Has time caught up with every single player in the squad then? Even the 26 year olds who look like they have no idea what to do?

You and me aren't important, the people that are important are quite clearly ignoring the problems.
The Doctor Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Highly doubt Ranieri is actually happy with the players, he's still just defending them in public. How much longer before he snaps and gives up on the no-hopers though?

Guest Col city fan Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 It is embarrassing. I don't have the faintest fookin clue what is happening at this club! Does anyone on here really know? It is like the owners don't give a damn. No sign of them, no real activity in January, no comments about Ranieri. Not even the dreaded 'vote of confidence'. It is like the club, the players, the manager, and half the bloody fans, are already resigned to going down! What, the Hell, is going on? Someone please advise with some accurate info, cos im lost here. They aren't thinking about selling up are they?
foxfanazer Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Enough is enough now. We're a laughing stock and there isn't any coming back from this for Claudio I'm afraid. Top and Vichai please do the right thing for our club and pull the trigger or preferably allow him to resign. Thanks for the memories of a lifetime Claudio but it's time to move on

RowlattsFox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Some managers aren't good at rebuilding confidence when it's gone. Ranieri is one of them. Neither manager nor captain inspire. Hes been hung out to dry by those in charge of transfers. We're the owners there? Usually get a tv shot at least once a game but didn't see one today. They don't seem as interested.

Interviewing another potential manager, sellling the club...what and where? What's going on?
AyewJoking Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Should have been sacked before christmas. I have nothing else to say on the matter
Chico1958 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Gary Neville teeing himself up for the job Jamie Carragher as assistant There you go............... all sorted
TheUltimateWinner Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Ranieri on not making the third substation 'We were playing well why would I change the team' also described us as solid.

We should know better than anyone what momentum in football can achieve. At the moment we are basically giving a 2-0 head start to everyone we play. Confidence goes and its game over. Huth for the 1st goal was painful to watch Morgan had a shocker. Simpson is bang average and Fuchs on current form needs to be replaced by Chilwell. At least we have a replacement for him lined up. I'm hoping Amartey saves pur skin this season and comes in as a CB and is like a new signing.
hejammy Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 He stood there with his arms folded the entire game. He just does not know what to do. We are loosing 3-0 why not stick Benny or Kaputska on? See what they can do in a game. What's the harm? At least they'll have some fight. I think he is actually looking to get sacked.

United missed about 4 gilt-edged chances at 0-3. Could have been a cricket score if they fancied it.
Karljohn Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 It's not just about now though is it. We were dreadful at Hull in August. The big deals were the real killer. If there are any rats in the camp I'd look no further than Vardy, Mahrez and possibly Slimani.

Tuna Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Ranieri just told Stringer on RL that he believes his job is 'safe'.
