Flyfox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 And mores to the point; it's not do much the results, it's the distinct lack of effort.
Corky Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 I like the fact everyone is telling us what to think, safe in the knowledge it won't happen to them.

josh_baskin Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Would nice to win the lotto, spend it in a year and go back to a minimum wage job!
DB11 Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Last season I'd have took winning the league followed by relegation. Not gonna change my mind. Last season we completed football, I've not been remotely interested in any of the losses since.

treer Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 100 percent right, just a pity it has taken a West Ham fan to broadcast it, truth be known there is not a LCFC would swap last year for staying up this year. And we will stay up anyway, so GET BEHIND THE TEAM, and see what happens.
MattCan Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Fairytale to nightmare, there is certainly mystic about this team ...

fuchsntf Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 I am just pissed off, that King Dick has swanned it, and totally spirited himself away. So much for the Plantagenet fighting Kings. We give him a more comfortable piece of earth, a grand send off, and what thanks do we get... Put him back in the parkplace, and charge his relations to recuperate the NCP prices and costs. Soon bugged off, as soon as Brexit was known....At least the Tudors, stayed around....
ozleicester Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 He's got a point, which to be fair, is what we have this year.
Thracian Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Seems like an "All our yesterday's" comment that bears no relation to the here and now. No-one wants to see something special being suddenly allowed to crumble through neglect and bad management. .
Ted Maul Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Nonsense. If you're not moving forward as a club, you're moving backwards. We've rested on our laurels this season, and we're paying the price.
Ted Maul Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 And anyone arguing 'yeah, but you would have taken relegation for winning the league last season' can give it a rest- as amazing as last season was, we were in our strongest ever position as a club over the summer, and we've collapsed quicker than we did with Peter Taylor. This season has been an utter farce, and I envy anyone who can sit there with a smile on their face after recent performances.
EGBFitness Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 And this is coming from West Ham fans who only a few weeks ago was slagging off their new ground that was basically given to them and until a few weeks ago was calling for Bilics head?
foxy boxing Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 and the West ham fans should stop moaning then, they are a safe premier league team with a great tax payer funded stadium! yes nothing ever exciting ever happens to their team and they plod along very nicely never in fear of relegation or winning any silverware
Ric Flair Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 It's easy to say that when you don't support this club or when your club is pottering about in 9th position. Any fan of clubs like West Ham, Stoke, WBA, Southampton etc would snap their hand off if offered a PL title winning season followed by a season of horror like we're having. They would because they can't see past winning the league, the holy grail. The shit that follows in the season that we're having cannot be measured as it doesn't compute, all they feel is what they think it would be like to win the league. I'll tell you one thing, if West Ham were in freefall like we are, their fans would be back fighting on the terraces and bricking the players bus to and from the ground. They are not a club that are happy to back failure, so I refuse to listen to any of that bull shit that fan has written. Ultimately, it's impossible to accept and tolerate freefall like this. It hurts and fans overreact.
Max Wall Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Whether he's right or wrong, what the fvcks it got to do with him? That said, he's entitled to pontificate on our situation as West Ham fans are well known to be patient in the extreme.........mug.

norwichfox Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 oops, error, I should have read all of your post first Max Wall
Max Wall Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 The topic header should have read, West ham fan right twat.
Spudulike Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 If we had've just missed out on the title and then got relegated this year I don't think I'd ever recover. LCFC have provided most (if not all) of the major football stories in the past 3 seasons. If we go down then the PL will be a worse place.

I've followed the team for 50 years and last season was everything and more that you could ever wish for. You should have used your wishes more judiciously - why not wish for winning EVERY season? One and done is not acceptable. You've tasted success and you are happy to go back to mediocrity? 19 hours ago, DB11 said: Last season I'd have took winning the league followed by relegation. No, they won it and wanted it again, again. What is wrong about wanting that. This season is a total embarassment - champions to chumps? We are the laughing stock of the football watching world - you realize that don't you? 10 hours ago, Ted Maul said: Nonsense. If you're not moving forward as a club, you're moving backwards. To say, "well we won and now I'm good is fine". Where's the legacy for the future fans? What about those fans who were too young to remember last season but were alive? Are we going to tell them "it was amazing, sorry you missed it, here's the DVD"? I want to bathe in the experience of last season again and again? I genuinely don't get why some people are satisfied. It's not like people loved us before we won it. We were hoofball Leicester, apart from when we had some underdog success under MON (in recent history). The world then began to love us. If we became the next Chelsea and United, would they still love us? Who cares! We'd be winning year after year. Playing big teams every week is great, not a treat. People bang on that we belong here, but we certainly aren't showing it this season. We have no right to be in this league, no one does, even Champions, and we are unfortunately proving it. If we go down for 10+ years, the regret of what could have been could be an even bigger wave than the one time we won it.... ask a Blackburn fan - oh wait, only about 12,000 of them ever turn up now.
dylanlegend Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 Im sure he's the same West Ham fan that will welcome Payet back with open arms if he plays at the Olympic stadium again for all the 'good memories' he gave them
