RowlattsFox Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 not sure about Mancini, I think we need someone to join the players together and if the players can fall out with Ranieri then they won't get along with Mancini. He also doesn't look like a long term approach. I'd love to take a gamble on someone like Wagner but he won't leave now. Short term appointment until the summer? That doesn't leave much choice, Hiddink but why he would he want that? whoeve else would take it on the short term, would end up being Shakespeare. Nowhere near short enough to suggest a done deal. He's still 2/1 at Betfair, Money on Hiddink, second fav now. Remember, doesn't mean a lot though, just bookies adjusting odds to reflect what they've taken money on.

tom27111 Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 Bielsa in to 9/1 with Ladbrokes, from 25's. Still 25/1 with a couple of others, but that's a significant move. It's long outsiders that move in like that that are worth taking note of. Probably nothing though. Can you tell I work for a bookies?! EDIT: Also in to 8/1 with Coral. Please let it be him! Bielsa basically invented his own formation and it fits very well with our counter-attacking style from last season. Perhaps that's why odds shortened on him though... Costock_Fox Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 Odds mean **** all at this stage, Preki went to 1/10 as did Vardy to Arsenal. They suggest we either haven't planned or it's been kept a very close secret.

However, 25's into 8's is significant at this stage. Could suggest something. It's the long shots that suddenly creep in that are worth noting. Probably is nothing.
