We need a cup final atmosphere - ticker tape, baloons etc like the big games at filbert street and wembley. Haven't been up for a game this much all season..c'mon leicester!!! Lets do this..straight out of the traps on tuesday..blue army!!!

I was trying to figure out whether it could be the best since we moved grounds, and considering the Walkers was such a depressing, soulless bowl for so many years, we've now had some absolutely brilliant atmospheres. Everton was incredible, but a complete party. West Ham also, but there were nerves in the air which turned to worry and anger as the game unfolded. Porto was very loud. The great escape when we had just discovered that actually, we could make a serious racket despite the acoustics. I think this might be the best- under the lights, first knockout European home game for nearly 20 years (and the first CL), Union FS tifo to kick it off, underdog mentality, the good mood around the place having our energetic winning team back- if we score early the place will erupt.

Old Fox Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 As a City fan this has to be the pinnacle or close to the best we can experience at a home game - I am as excited as I was as an 8 year old going to Villa Park for the semifinal. Even this ol bugger will shout his head off on Tuesday.....will probably get in the ground extra early hopefully the mercury/radio will encourage people to get in early and create an atmosphere even in the warm up. We can do this but we need to be bang at it and an atmosphere to ramp up the pressure on Seville can only help the boys!!! COYB!!

lee7 Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 Will be getting there extra early so hopefully the atmosphere is loud even during the warm up. I'm sure if it is then the players will notice because normally the atmosphere is non existent in the stands pre-match. I'm so excited I just hope they don't put the game to bed early doors and kill off everyone's good mood!

FoxesDeb Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 I think it's the unexpected hope that makes this feel different. When most of us bought our tickets we expected to already be about 5 nil down, and just wanted to enjoy the occasion. Now we have hope, but although it's the biggest fixture for ages i don't feel nearly as nervous as I have before when we've had less riding on it. Can't remember the last time I was this excited. Tuesday can't come soon enough
foxy boxing Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 The atmosphere will be so much more pumped up because of the fact we have given ourselves a chance and we can be the twelfth man and make a lot of noise and make the players believe in themselves and really make it intimidating for the Sevilla players
