Aus Fox Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Bloody snakes ? after all he has done for them, show some respect Boro. Really hope they go down now, used to be my 2nd team now feck em. RIP Football
Tuna Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 He earned the right to relegate them having won promotion; Boro are where they should be. #disgusted.
TheSomersetFox Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Well they've lost all the goodwill I had for them
Guest MattP Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Any sense they'll go for Big Nige, I'd back him to keep them up.
MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Would be great to see Nigel Pearson back in the Premier League - and he's got history with Boro. Perfect fit, also looking at the challenge.
Moksky Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 NP wil send them down , but should be good enough to bring them back up
goose2010 Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Mclaren will get it about the only place people still like him!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Absolute disgusting. I heard the players had a meeting and decided to down tools to get him sacked. Boro should know their place as a second division team and accept relegation. A sad day for football.
filbertway Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Good call, he's so bloody boring. Must be soul destroying watching his team play football.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 it's a ****ing disgrace, after everything he did for them to just turn around and pull the trigger is beyond disgusting. Who do Middlesbrough think they are? This is your level

Ex-Boro Centre Back and Captain who led the club to promotion and a couple of Finals (and very popular there), I'm sure Nige will be linked with that job. Steve Gibson, the Boro Chairman might be prepared to forgive Pearson's craziness and give him a go - especially as being a longstanding Boro fan before becoming Chairman, he will be of the generation who rated Nige ! I'm sure Gibson will look at what Nige did for us the season before last - and think he could do the same for Boro.
Bert Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Middlesborough are playing to their strengths. Try and play expansive football in this league and they'll get torn to bits.
Fox92 Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Feel a bit for him. Did very well making Middlesbrough solid, got them up playing some nice stuff. He'll get another job in the Championship easily.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Alvaro Snakeredo, Snakewart Downing, Grant Leadviper, Adamamba Troaré etc etc

They're not getting torn to bits currently but they're not going to stay up being so negative. We've seen it ourselves under Pearson in 2014-15 and this season that when you're more aggressive and positive in games you're more likely to get results.
Corky Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 What do they expect? To score goals and win matches occasionally? What a callous decision.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Bit rich to be complaining about 'player power' leading to managerial sackings isn't it? It's clear that players are having a bigger impact on managerial futures.

Jattdogg Posted 17 March 2017 Posted 17 March 2017 Bloody scabs! Hope they go down where they belong!
